Guest JIM
Hi guys!! Can some of you friendly souls recommend me some slow, heavy and wellproduced music for the late (early?) morning hours like atmos, magnetrixx and sonnenvakkum? thanx... Guest [tom jaimz]
Ah, someone with decent morning trance tastes! There was a thread about morning trance a few week backs, with the same old tired tacky melodic recommendations like Astral Projection, Man With No Name, Pleiadians.. anyway, here are a few recommendations along the same lines as you.. Prisoners of the Sun, Tarsis/G-Lock, Electric Universe, Vibrasphere, Tromesa, Ticon, S-Range, Gus Till/Bus, Twelve Moons, Human Blue, Greg Lunar, Zorba.. khogg
Astral Projection, MWNN are old and tacky! Old maybe, relatively speaking, but tacky? NO, they are classic. None the less, I must second the motion for S-Range, & Vibrasphere.
Guest JIM
tom jaimz: First of all: Thanks for the reply! Most of the artist are known to me and I acctually have seen Vibrasphere, Tromesa, Ticon, S-Range,Human Blue live... I think all of them (except tromesa) were very good! But Im looking for more slower stuff.... ....all of you that visits danish/swedish parties know the that kind of music the last dj use to play, thats what Im looking for! I will check out the other artists. =) Dont hesitate, please give me more!!
Guest kenny
Gus Till (Bus/Slinky Wizard) is excellent morning stuff, nice and slow, groovy, and incredibly well produced. also look at some other flying rhino stuff (with him in it too, ie. Stoop and Fidget, etc.).
Guest [tom jaimz]
I think you'll find most of the artists I listed make the kind of music you're after.. check out compilations like the Movers and Grovers series, the Kamaflage series - actually a lot of Dragonfly releases lately are along the lines of what you describe. Flying Rhino too - check out Something for the Weekend, and the Transient Day and Night compilation. I'm pretty sure I know the kind of music you're describing - tracks like Tranan's Moody and Twelve Moon's Back 2 Basics. Unless you're after the more MPQDX style, like Pope of Gegga and Trimatic? Guest a
Try out the new Sunset rec. compilation "Solar Seeds" very good I must say.. some slower progressiv stuff with nice atmospheres and soft samples.. grr.. nice! But not really sure that you could call it morning trance.. anyone else know better maybe? I purchased it yesterday in the local psytrance shop in malmoe/sweden, but haven't seen it on psyshop yet..
