Guest rx7style
I just started listening to this album 20 minutes ago, so I'm only just beginning track 3, but damn -- this is such innovative stuff, and does it ever just POUND when you crank your system up. I love the electrik breaks... such talent required to do those so seamlessly. Great album... will review each track separately after a few more listens. It's like DE- Loud And Clear ^4!! Guest sunconscious
Great album. This sounds like a cross between Shpongle and Acid Rockers. You can preview all of their songs here: http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/322/violet_vision.html
Insejn
Violet Vision - First Sign Of Communication Artist: Violet Vision Title: First Sign Of Communication Label: BNE Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. Divine Conflict 02. Inside The Glass Shell 03. Fingering Nuns On Mars 04. 3 Martians 05. Sense 06. Violet's Vision 07. Momentary Lapse Of Consciousness 08. Substance 44 09. Grey Matter 10. Panic Disorder Review: Oh man! This is some freaky weird stuff IMO. It's like a weird mix of Deviant Electronics/Infected/Hux-Flux. Alot of breakbeats, sound-effects and noises. Yeah, I said alot. Some tracks are downtempo with some vocals and violins put in. Really good IMO. The tracks are very different from each other. many of you might have heard the track "Sense" but the other tracks is far from that style. It's so experimental and strange. I never heard so strange music before And I like it very much indeed. I have no idea how to describe each track so i think I'll end it right here. If you are up for music you never heard before this is "the one" to get. Rating: 8/
Guest Mr.Hanky
Great Album indeed! Excellent beats of all kinds, a top-notch production(at almost all of the tracks), and interesting the whole way through. favorites are Fingering Nuns on Mars(3) & Substance 44(8). ***********We are all children of god***************
Guest [Anonymous]
I was completely stunned when I listened to the previews, this is one of the best releases of the year. Steady production, fluent songs, nice and innovative. Can't wait to take it home... And BTW ( nice cover) 9/10 at least for me now. I'll review it again when I have the real cd in hands... Guest Eyal Yankovich
"In 2001, electro rocks on in evermore twisted shapes. It?s the funkyfresh ghost in the machine that can?t be exorcised, the virus in the circuitry that can?t be contained. It remains what it always has been: a signpost to the future."(Tom Magic Feet)
Guest lamprey
very industrial sounding! they really took heavy influence from Leeb and Fulber: later FLA, Noise Unit, Delerium, Protech, etc. Bouncy bubbly melodies, matched with breakbeats and great SFX. This is truly on the boundary seperating trance and industrial. IMO, this is the music that Fulber was trying to make but couldnt quite get there! Guest sorry can't
I was waiting for thiz album to come out....and having read all those reviews above i thought that thiz is really a blast, so i got the album ...and................ MY GOD, how a was DISAPPOINTED!!!! THIZ IZ NOT INNOVATIVE!!! IT IS SAME OLD DRUM 'N' BASS + some DUB and jungle (((( You can hear those beats and grooves everywhere... Why do they release thiz crap into trance scene???? The only thing that stroke me is that those dudes are only 19, and that is awesome that at thiz age they can produce such high-quality music! And i think, dudes, that thiz iz the time to stop thinking that your music is genious, BECAUSE IT IS NOT! same old pop - music 1/10 for waitnig and innovation 8/10 for quality and manipulaiton i wish i didn't know that EREZ EIZEN was into thiz! Guest Slidingtrancer
Sorry can't, please do have an open mind for psychedelic stuff. It's innovative because it enters the path where Deviant Electronics failed to go. It's harder, more basslines and really well-produced. max
Great stuff !!! Some tracks are not for me but the whole impression is very good. And i wish the guys will perform a warm-up in France next to Loic TE.

Guest joemrmeat[at]hotmail[dot]com
I think this stuff is for open minded people, because it is not "goa or psytrance", it's very hard to define this kind of music...BNE define them as Psychedelic Experimental Electronic and I think this is the right word to define Violet Vision...Anyway, this is different and very good!!! Guest Psychedelic Man
Drum and bass with downtempo + ambient... not really something new or innovative... i think its just ok... but for kids i think they are doing good. this guys have to grow up a lot before make really psychedelic music, not that drum and bass pop
Guest MdAk
Amazing Cd!!! 9/
Guest Batz
The most boring album I ever heard, cheesy... bhaa just 100% yucky. ONLY for Infected Mushroom lovers even thought I'm thoughtful they will like it too what a waste of money.

Jon Cocco
This album is so creative, catchy, melodic, and diverse, well varied. I love it. It is a fantasy dream come true in goa, psy/chill-influenced (classify this crazy masterpiece as is) music! Every track is good/great, if not excellent, superb! Highly recommended. Remixed by Erez of Infected Mushroom around his GOA prime. Enjoy!
Guest zeus class
OK i'm now calling these guys GENIOUS!! I mean up there with Hallucinogen and all.... Actually frankly right now I think Violent Vision is more Genious than Halluciongen. First sign of communication is an AMAZING peice of work. This is soooo refreshing Sooo diffrent!! This is what we have been wating for! A breakthough. This CD is a masterpeice. A moment in history!!!
