Guest Rx7style
Vaishiyas - Flaxid Artist: Vaishiyas Title: Flaxid Label: Jum Jam Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Convulse 02. Electrosaat 03. Zapp 04. Flaxid 05. Lulu 06. Tremble Chirp 07. Anstifter 08. Flurry Review: Let’s get to the nitty-gritty here: this is a very solid release from Hannes Kiltta and Daniel Gundlach. Every track is riddled with appeasing and enjoyable sounds that are full of energy and enthusiasm coupled with nice breaks and complex percussive layers. This seems to be a step above some other releases near the end of this year, and with tracks like “Electrosaat”, I’m eager to hear more. Their sound has developed quite pleasantly from previous albums in quality, profundity, and complexity. This refined sound brings more of a psychedelic feel without being overly repetitive and too full-on. Attention to detail is discernable through extensive variation in hits and “claps” creating sonic intricacies with their respective reverberation and repetition. In fact, that’s noticeable even with main synth lines in the refrain. The determinate: satisfyingly invasive and enveloping sounds that dominate the soundstage. Keep up the good work, especially regarding tracks 2 & 6 – the stand-outs of this album.
Guest Stoned2max
Yes,one of the best releases in a while, All tracks with the bassline very very solid and thick, the combination of the hihats, synths, and as Rx7style says the "claps" all combine to that Rave sound. I would say their sound got more refined since previous releases. my number one would be track 5,,
