Anoebis
Mind Warped - Fluorolizard Artist: Mind Warped Title: Fluorolizard Label: BooM! Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 07'19" Sunshower 02. 09'13" Somato Psychic 03. 09'15" Fluoropolar 04. 09'41" Galaxy Splitter 05. 09'26" Dimensional Traveller 06. 07'25" Sudan 07. 07'18" Alien Vision (Edit) 08. 07'04" Photoelectric (Edit) 09. 06'33" Pure Beings Review: Like everything of Boom! Records this is a good CD!! It's not the Boom-stuuf as usual altough it's pretty fast... (145-150 bpm) This American artist made some nice Psy-Trance songs, but it's more psychedelic as the usual psy-trance stuff!!! When I heared nr 8 the first time I even felt the spirit of Transwave, and that's the first time in a long time that an artist made that sound!! ))) Other good songs are:1,2,3,4,5&9!!! Guest AlexG
well, if you don't own any of the older transwave, prana, cosmosis, etnica, pleiadians, green nuns, etc. albums (from 95-98), you can buy this and pretty much get the idea of what goa used to sound like. but when most people here are talking about how astral projection hasn't evolved with their "another world" and stuff, i can't see why this is getting good reviews. everything here has been done before many times, this guy just copied and re-produced it, and even at that, he doesn't have any outstanding tracks here, nothing that stands out to make you wanna come back again. sure, ap's "another wolrd" is a continuation of the "dancing galaxy" sound, but at least they have their own original sound that is good, and plenty of outstanding hits that are some of the best tracks ever in trance. this album is just a bunch of old ripped off sounds, so i would strongly encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. try tracking down some of the older albums if you wanna hear this kinda sound when it was at its prime. Guest Angelke[at]goatrance[dot]com
Sorry Alex, I do not agree, this CD is very nice for listening!! Ok, maybe this style is not new, but Mind Warped made some great songs in this "old" style!! By the way, because of al that Progressive Minimalistic stuff I'm happy that there are still guys who produce this kinda Goa! Best songs are 3,4,5,7&
Guest Simon Iz.
yep, it does sound "oldschool".. but with all the minimal stuff coming out these days it's kind of refreshing. And besides, the "old" school was only a few years ago, this is not ancient history! Don't you like hearing melodies once in a while? Guest Goamass[at]hotmail[dot]com
NO oldschool at all! I don't even like the term old school goa. That's for people who just got out of their trip, think that they heard it all and wanna hear a totally new experience.I don't wanna hear these melodies now and then, but the fucking whooole partie long. Like it used to give me those loong and twisted climaxes. If there's something old-school, than it must be the pschytrance nowadays! Allways schtampfen on the same lazy beat, non inventive sound that's turned on reloop. Why even bother to make that shit! Maybe there are almost no producers anymore who CAN make spiritual uplifting, keep on dancing, goa! Goa should be a mind trip to another galaxy where it tells you it's own fairytale. Some kind of mystical synergie! PLUR & Greets from Belgium Gotama

Guest [Anonymous]
Good Album - Pure Goa... Not Good As Astral - But Great Great Tracks..
Jon Cocco
This is one of the most solid and underrated Goatrance albums ever released. Tracks 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 are all great, and a few of the others are good too! I don't care for track 4; it sounds monotonous, not catchy, or memorable. I usually skip it. The last track is fantastic, like Goatrance set to a techno beat and bass line. Overall, great album, very psychedelic and creative!
