Guest Stormbringer
Joti Sidhu - Free Radical Artist: Joti Sidhu Title: Free Radical Label: Atomic Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'58" Free Radical 02. 07'37" Dark Angel Review: I don´t know why Joti Sidhu doesn´t release this under the Psychaos alias but I guess it´s because both tracks differ a bit from the sound of his latest album, "Cause And Effect". The big difference is the melodies, or lack of melodies. The rhythm and the energetic "Psychaospulse" are the same as on the album... perhaps they´re even harder and more furious than on the album? I think that both "Free Radical" (8/10) and "Dark Angel" (8/10) are great uptempo tracks for use in the middle of the night when everybody wants to dance like hell. I do recomend ATOMIC 016 for you Jotifans out there because this is one of the best Atomicreleases so far, and you´ll recognize his sound even if it´s a bit less melodic than before. Basilisk
This is lacking something that made previous efforts from Psychaos rather special. Easily overlooked.
Guest Flightpath
It's more great material from Joti but I feel like his "signature sound" has gotten too predictable. I have no doubts he is capable of a more innovative sound and I hope someday soon he'll let it out. Anyway, it's a solid bit of work and deffo worth picking up.
