Guest Psychedelic Gav
V/A - Deck Wizards Goa Gil - Kosmokrator Artist: Various Title: Deck Wizards Goa Gil - Kosmokrator Label: Psychic Deli Date: 1996 Track listing: 01. 06'52" The Infinity Project : Phosphoressence (Doors Of Perception Mix) 02. 05'50" Kuro : Thunderstorm 03. 06'11" Shakta And Ping Pong : Between The Nothing 04. 07'41" Sephalopod : Option Paralysis 05. 06'01" Deviant Electronics : Oxygen Cult 06. 06'56" GMS : Rollercoaster 07. 08'08" The Nommos : Po Tolo (B Sirius Mix) 08. 06'17" MFG : Alternate Dimension 09. 06'50" Dimension 5 : Iron Sun 10. 07'27" Shakta : Lepton Head (Deedrah Rmx) Review: As much as I?ve admired Goa Gil when I?ve been lucky enough to see him, this compilation just doesn?t work for me. There are too many okay tracks and not enough outstanding tracks. This mix doesn?t take me far enough - I get left with the feeling that it?s all right but Goa Gil can do a lot lot better than ?all right?. It gives you a taste of how good Gil can be, but leaves you that little bit wanting more.

Guest AtomikElf
not bad, not good, just an average album. when i saw it was compiled/mixed by goa gil, i bought it irrespective.......turned out to be a mistake. i should've spent my money elsewhere.......if u can get live @ burningman 97 (i think it's 97) - those are some really cool tracks mixed top notch - i enjoyed that much better than this. 5.5/
Guest psy61[at]home[dot]com
I personally love this album, even though Goa Gil really isn't the best beatmacher around... Great track selection, very dark and hard... 9/
freak51
Not bad old-school comp. "Between the Nothing" is one of the all-time greatest tracks around - that twisting keyboard gives me the shivers just thinking about it. The Lepton Head remix is also real nice; so is "Iron Sun", one of the least flamante melodic tracks off the first Dimension 5 record. Otherwise, it's awful. The cover art is very well done, I must've stared at it for hours. 5/10.
