There are a powerfull bassline in most of the tracks. That makes it a very dark album, but there are light tracks, but mostly dark ones. Best at cd 1: "XV Kilist" - "Seitenzwack", a very dark number with a heavy bassline and lots of weird elecktrick sounds. "CHI-A.D". - "Monsters" are also a very hard and dark track, witch some cool guitar syncs to improve it. Best at cd 2: I will point at "Johann" "Bley" - "Snakebite" as beeing the best, it have lots of guitar, with a heavy baseline, and thats simply an amazing track. Also "Dragon Master" with "Circulate" is a must hear. "Traveling at the Speed of thought" by "The Delta" is worth to heat. The rest of the cd is also very great, but there are a few "silet" ones... (Psyhonaut, Atmos, Human Blue). I was a bit disapointed about the SUN Project track, it sounds ok, but not great, its almost flat...But anyway, a good, hard compilation with lots of baseline 9/
Guest sysopt[at]yahoo[dot]com
I just got this album, but it seems to be a very good progressive trance album. I always love the soft tracks by atmos and our other Swedish heroes Son Kite. What I also really loved in this compilation is the track by Chi-A.D. Completely new style, and I just love it. Can't wait to get my hands on a new album from Chi-A.D., at least not if it's gonna sound this incredibly good.
Guest Acidhive
Agree with all of you here... This one is a gem! Hard, progressive goa!! And the Chi a.d. track is @#!$!!$ Awesome!! Can't wait for a new album from David Young, the man himself!! Other tracks are great as well, and no let downs on this one!!! 8,5/10 from me!! freak51
The Tarsis track is discreetly mindblowing. Pity about the SUN Project track's childish percussion of bump-tsiss-bump-tsiss. The Chi-AD and Atmos tracks are spellbinding, though I haven't figured out how to enjoy the KoxBox sound everyone else is raving about in that album review. The California Sunshine is not Miss Right, but it's definitely Miss Right Now. The Human Blue track made me buy the record. The Delta track is a stormer, and the Synchro and Digital Sun tracks are worthwhile. Very good comp, these guys get stronger with each release (except 9 IMHO). Guest psy[at]persogo.com[dot]br
Good bands in this comp.!!! Best tracks are Human Blue: Sandal Wood(2-cd2),XV Kilist:Seitenzwack(1-cd1) and Chi-ad:Monsters(7-cd1)... This is the best Goa Head comp. (6/10). Guest Dead74
Many people told me this is the best Goa-Head comp so I gave it a try...and it's not bad, but I'm not blown away. There are definatly good tracks, but it's monotonous and cheesy at times. The first disc is really good, but the second disc...is kinda whatever. There are just too many cheesey rock guitars. I'm not against electric guitars in trance as I used to be 'cause I know that you can use them well, but here...nope! It lowers the psychedelia by a few notches and especially Johann Bley track is hurt! I like Juno, but this sounds like hard-rock trance. But get this, the Chi-A.D. track is absolutly amazing. It sooo beautiful and subtle! I wish they could release good albums because they are super-talented. overall, the comp is about 5 or 6/10. the first disc is about 7/10. Guest outer_limits[at]net.sapo[dot]pt
This comp SUCKS completely , i was to able to tink that goa psy-trance was to have psychedelic melodies but , the tracks sounds more non melodic TECHNO and the tracks are very monotonous and there are in many tracks ELECTRIC GUITARS ???!!! , What a suck compilation !!!! I think there are in comp good trance like infected mushroom , astral projection , juno reactor , ect.... but this is definitely TECHNO-HEAD . well i think is better to buy albuns than compilations.... Guest yvad.enlil[at]libertysurf[dot]fr
A very dark album ??? :Wumpscut: is dark, MZ.412 is very dark and disturbing, and Graveland is the chaos... I like goa/trance but don't make me cry with your opinions.

lysergic
Not good. i thought this wasnt interesting at all. and u get sick of the tracks very quickly. highlights are : Psychonaut - Derwish ( the first few times u hear it, its nice) Atmos - Bad leutenint (has a chill feel to it, but better than most of the stuff here) Digital Sun - Space flipper (nice for the acid sounds , and its good to dance to) overall 4/
Guest Eksitus
When I heard this compilation first time I thought this good. Then I bought compilations and albums from other labels (3D Vision, Twisted, Spiral Trax...) I had listened those records about six months and one day I listened this compilation and quess what? It sucked... and very much! There are good tracks too but there is many tracks that are too awful! I have two Goa Head compilations and they both are something for the babies... or something! Well, there is always good thing in this kind of compilations. People who hadn't heard goa/psy trance before, this kind of compilations are good start to the inner world of psychedelic trance. But if you are thinking of buying this compilation don't... You will be disappointed!!!

Balance
My favorite Goa-Head. I own up to vol. 16 of the series but this one defined a time in my life where for personal reasons I lived very far from the love of my life with little money & my music was stored with her. I bought this and it was on endless rotation for a very long long time. It had me much warmth and happiness during this time, and so for me it still holds these.
