Review:

The new GOA-Head is here, and it's a good one. Filled with all kinds of

psytrance, and not like a few parts back, all European tracks. CD1: Space

Buddha deliver a good pumping track with lots of blips and scratches. Alien

Project does his usual style. You either love it or hate it, but this one is

good IMO. Element with their great track Full Moon. Great vocals on this one.

Spektral has an African feel to it, layered with the usual Bamboo Forest

flavour. SBK delivers a stomping

effort with some chanting in the beginning and middle of the track. Not bad.

Lowrider is masterfully mixed by Frogacult and gives it a totally different

flavour. Son Kite mix Vernon's Wonderer really well. Solid stuff. Eargear gets

mixed by Der Dritte Raum. Really good bass pattern here, though it does tend

to get a little too repetitive. POTS mix Ambrosia, which is masterfully done.

Great track. Shaman rounds the first cd off with a regular track of his.

Pounding, and a bit acidic.

CD2 kicks off with Tarsis, which is not that good a track to begin a cd IMO.

This is a bit uninspired also. They would've been better off putting a

different track here. Ah well, can't have 'em all. Under The Sun is a nice

little funky morning track. Call Me is also not really my cup of tea. Schwarze

Schraube brings it up again, this is one mechanical track. Love it. Noma

delivers a pounding track with some nice pad sounds. Astral Projection brings

a usual track, though their

kickdrums have un-fattened a little. Not bad! Amtrax... Oh yeah!! Definately

one of the best tracks on this one. X-Dream vs Atmos in a very melodic effort.

Really good!! Space Elevator is a cool pounding track also. Highpersonic

Whomen rules IMHO, their album is cool also!

Symphonix deliver a more SUN Project like track IMO. (SUN Project

'Computerbreath' like mind you, not their guitar oriented tracks) Psychonaut

quirks and pounds away last, rounding this compilation off. Definately an

8,5/10 here, because of the fat tracks on offer. Though

it does have a few downfalls (mostly on cd2) it stands as a good compilation

and well worth investing your hard-earned cash in.
