The Worst Goa-Head of all!!! There Are only 5 good

songs on it!(CD1:1,2,4&8 => CD2:6) And 1 very good song:

Intact Instinct (CD2, nr 8)!! Except these songs it is

pretty boring and it sounds alot like techno, and I don't

like Techno, so... I'm not happy with this CD but because

I have all the other Goa-Heads I just had to buy this one

too!! But if you don't collect them... Buy another piece

of plastic!!!

This comp is very bad and I think the name shouldn't be Goa-Head but

Techno-Head instead,there's nothing goaish with this album!!!!Buy this if you

like boring non-melodic techno!!!

Yo henke... What do you mean techno head?? There's plenty of goa on this...

CD1: Track 3,4,6,7,8 CD2: 2,5,6,9 The rest may resemble Techno, but they are

also great! Goa Head remains one of the better compilations to date. My cheers

to the ones who compile this, as they always turn out with some tracks no one

else puts on their compilations. 8/10

Those who compile this have come up with some good tracks ,and put all of them

on CD 1: 1,3,4,6. Especially "Between Worlds" by Shakta ,which is a WONDERFUL

track!

But they also found some pretty bad tracks, i.e the last track on CD 1, a

horrible track that has nothing to do on a high-quality compilation like

GOA-head. 6/10 overall

The worst Goa-Head I have. Good songs are on CD1 3,4,7 and on CD2 5,6,8. The

best is Chi-ad - Moonart.

well, I had Goa-Head 7 and I liked it very much, so I bought this one and it

really sucks! In Finland it's not that simple to get good trance compilations,

so I will buy Goa-Heads when ever I can get them. (Cool site btw.)

Some highlights, but the good stuff has already appeared elsewhere. Get this

if you don't already have a substantial collection of 1999-2000ish stuff.

WOW !! the rawest Goahead ever !! .. tough beats and weird sounds .. the first

track on CD 1 beats everything .. Cypher - Riding on a White Rabbit .. I just

love this tune !!! Being a swede I have to say I also love the imaginative and

special sounds of Son Kite in their tune Knob Adjustment !!! freaky style

indeed !! .. If you wonder which goahead compil. to play on a party I say

GOAHEAD 9 ! ..

There's no Ethnic Mellodies in this album,just idiot techno stuff.I miss the

ones include real goa spirit!!!!

A pretty good compilation. Shakta, Son Kite and CHI-a.d. are the highlights on

CD1, but imho not killers. CD2 is so much better than CD1; Earth starts with a

very dreamy track, and MOS continue with a real masterpiece. Element give us

one of their better tracks, before COP kicks in with another killer; So much

power in that track. Cybersnack is a really dreamy track, and probably the

best they've made. Pleiadians kick in with another great stomper, before

Synchro takes us to "Nebula". Some of the best work from Synchro in quite a

while. Intact Instinct has (as someone already mentioned) a great track here,

before Ouija ends the CD2 with the worst track on the CD. (Not on the entire

compilation - that's Hippiehaus'). Overall: 7.5/10

Boy, they just kept getting worse didn't they? Like movie sequels, they try to recycle some of the things you loved about the original, but the majority of it is just thrown together crap. The good tracks are good, but been there done that.

 

I also believe they should take "Goa" out of the title. If we had a true recognized definition of what goa is, maybe we could sue for false advertising. Gotta admit though, Between Worlds by Shakta continues to kick major ass.

I agree! But I would say Cybersnack - Live At Tao is a great progressive goa trance song, very light and melodic!
