It comes as no surprise that there are a abundance of German acts on this comp. and neither does it come as a surprise that all of these tracks have guitars in them. (Duh!?) The biggest flaw this CD has, is that pretty much all the tracks are already released. Short description of each track. #1.1 (CD 1, track 1) kicks of with a heavy guitar that pretty much continues throughout the track which has the sample "Ehm, we seem to be having a problem here" repeated several times. Average track. #1.2 is a well-know track from the album "When Gods Make Love" and has a phat conga-based bass-line. Good track. #1.3 is previously released on the "Resurrection-comp from 99, but it's a cool track. Has a cool start, with a yawning animal or something. The track itself is very psychedelic. "What is god? What is true?". Very good track. #1.4 is more boring. Especially in the middle. Uses the exact same guitar-riff as track 1! Nothing special about this one. #1.5 has the hardest, meanest guitar-riff so far. The guitar-bits sounds a little like Deep Purple. The track has a very hectic feel to it, and changes pace a lot. Very, very good track. #1.6 starts with a very simple kick-drum, but evolves into a very fast, cool track with distorted guitar-riffs. #1.7 is a boring, track from the Aurinko compil "Catcher". #1.8 is very psychedelic, but also very boring 2-year old track from the Atomic-compil "Electrosect" and last on CD1 we have another boring track. #1.9 starts chilled out, but slowly gets harder... Nothing special. CD2 (which is slower than CD1) starts out with famous German chill-out group Deep Dive Corp, who delivers a stunning, melodic piece of psychedelic ambient #2.1. Very good track. #2.2 is a slower track, with a really annoying guitar. Crappy! #2.3 has potential with nice use of percussions, but is still an average track. #2.4 Is a harder, more tribal inspired track. Quite ok. Tracks #2.5 + #2.6 are both unbelievably boring and very predictable. Fillers. #2.7 is the well-known Boris Blenn track from Divine Design. My fav'e track from that album. Very good. #2.8 also has potential, but is totally pervaded with a really cheesy, hip-hop sample. Too bad. #2.9 is too break-beat'y for my taste. So, to sum it up, there are 4 very good tracks on this comp: Tracks 3 & 5 of CD1 + tracks 1 & 7 on CD2. If you have those tracks, there is no need to get this comp as there are TOO MANY FILLERS here! Also, for a guitar comp, where are the SUN Project/X-Dream/Delta tracks? Cool artwork though. If you love guitars in your psy-trance, and if you like Vol. 1, get this. If not - don't! Rating 5.5/10 Bom shankar!

Guest VBRunner
Good tracks I'm sure, but this is when I start worrying about commercialization of psytrance.
