i agree with the above: this is a pretty good album. sounds a bit repetetive at

times, but overall it's satisfying. has a gothic feel to it (justifying the

cover art), but that doesn't mean it's boring. between 6-8/10 (depends on the

mood)

Review:

Debut release from new UK label, Zerotonin Records. And it's pretty nice...at

least for me. I would describe this album as a 2000 album on a 1996 way...It

has a lot of influences from other artist...I could hear a litle IM's sound,

litle (older) Cosmosis...but after all Deviant Species has their own unique

sound...It's music with plenty of side effects, great percusion and also great

melodies...But, don't think that this is melodic album...it is not...it's

something in between and i think that this would rock on parties...This album

will get great 8.5/10, from me...

never heard of this but damn thats one sweet looking cover... you'd think that

with goa being such psychedelic music that there would be interesting album

art and in some cases this is true but i've been rather disappointed with a

lot of the covers coming out recently... anyway i think i'll find a way to

check this out, it looks interesting [even the track names exude a very rich

aura of something or another]...

Nice trippy sounds...my favourite is AYM, which has more pump than the others.

Does "album mix" mean anything? Have these tracks already been released on

12"? I'll give it 7/10.

By the way, call me a sad bastard, but I just saw a programme about 70's telly

and I reckon they nicked the monster on the cover art from an episode of

Blake's Seven...

That *MUST* be the best albums of 2000, or even 1999, or one of the best EVER.

It's showing a great mixture between goa and a powerfull presence of psytrance.

I already heard it like 10 times nonstop listening and I still go on!

All tracks are great, long with great percussion and basslines. * smoke these

basslines and get high *

Favourites - 1,2,3,4(!),5(!),6(!),7

Overall - 9/10 A MUST!

This became an instant favorite in my collection of psychedelic trance. Not

sure if any of these would be good party rockers as someone suggested, but it

is in my opinion definitely one of the best albums of 2000. This album works

particularly well when smokin and just chillin with some friends and a

blacklight. Overall - 9/10

This is extremely good, psychedelic album. It is intelligent, new, dark and

psychedelic. The concept of it is the thing that makes it a masterpiece. 10/10

If you like fast repeting basslines get this. This is the way all minimal

should be. Fast baselines fast baselines. The dancefloor just throbs to the

16/4. Sounds very high tech like your flying though neo tokyo at 300 mph.

Very interesting album....Some songs sounds fresh ( 1,5,6 ) and others sounds

like old school ( 2,4,7 ) and they are all simply amazing...Only Jughead

looses somewhere...But all in all, this is stunning album....They really know

how to pull it...10/10
