Afterhourz
Domi Pastor - Immortality Artist: Domi Pastor Title: Immortality Label: Inti Raimy Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Cada Dia 02. The Fly Of The Phoenix 03. Big Balla Boom (Rmx) 04. Immortality 05. Fa Fret 06. Aha 07. Eisbluemengarten 08. Ahim Has 09. El Fill D'El Commandant (Rmx) Review: Well People : if you are looking for some great melodic goa trance this is the album for you It starts off with Cada Dia , my absolute favorite followed by a slower but equally great the Fly of the Phoenix : wait until the end with that melody : lets you drift away... The 2 remixes 3 and 8 are IMHO better than the original and most of you will know Eisbluemengarten from the SST comp. It simply is awesome . Immortality the title track together with 5 and 6 are also good but not as great as the others imo ... but don't hesitate... buy I have to give this a 9/
vision
"Immortality" debut album by Domi Pastor. This album is quite dark, but there are also good melodies there on it. Most of the taxx here are dancefloor oriented. Cada Dia, Immortality are fine representetives of morden GOA trance. Fantastic melodies , rocking goa samples and classic kicks. Alltogether that defenetly rulez. Big Balla Boom (Rmx), Fa Fret, Aha are hard & dark full-on psychedelic kikkers. Some very good samples. Great for midnight hot. Eisbluemengarten, Ahim Has, El Fill D'El Commandan(Rmx) are so-called progressive psytrance trax. Quality sounds, progressive rythm and good moledies. Especially for mourning sets after long night on psy pool. The Fly Of The Phoenix slow progressive track with magical but so sad melody starting in the middle of it and till the end. While listening to it, so much thoughts come in to your mind. Simple, but great track. The impression of the music on this album is different, but mostly this is dark music. Maybe sound is not quality enough. A couple of new ideas and felecitous samples. I think Domi Pastor should continue to develope its own style. Good luck. karan129
This album has some amazing tracks on it, Fly of the Pheonix especially. It has this simply melody at the beginning which is so beautiful, and in the middle another outwordly melody starts off. The first track has some great acid on it flying all around Imo the album is very underrated.
