Review:

Well, first, this is not trance album and many of you will ask what is it doing

here then, but it is old masters doing different thing for a change...And They

didn't put it together that well though..It is extremely experimental

album...It varies from jazz, freestyle, over even lounge music...It has sme

techno elemnts and some trance sounds...I don't know how exactly to describe

this album...If you like experiments, you will certainly like it...Best on

album : MONSTRO, TEMPONAUT, MOONBEAT, CRITICAL MASS...Rest is average or just

good...6.5/10

Pretty unclassifiable album, great sounds.

Takes a while to really realize their vision with this album, but once you hear

these tunes right, its awesome :) My favorite track is Salon Kitty - excellent

introduction to this strange new world. The Ozric Tentacles influence is

definitely felt here - 8/10 -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

Good for a grin, but not as detailed as some of their older stuff. Still, not

for me to criticize - after over ten years, I don't doubt that everything they

do is on purpose. Follow That Camel will endure; the rest is quite

experimental and, I suspect, has a shelf life. Epidemic is a happy rave

anthem, good to break up a set and change up the mood.

I would have liked some more 'follow that Camel' flavor instead of of the hard

pounding D'nB stuff that dominates the 2nd part of the album but still very

recommended of course. 8/10. Check out the new Zen Lemonade album if you

prefer a more clubby experimental sound.

good stuff from eat static... this is the best example of how an artist can

develop when not bothered about commercial success... i think eat static is

one of the best artists out there in the goa scene.. one of the only ones who

still follows the true tradition of goa. i.e. evolution and experimentation..

however i preffered crash and burn, this one had to many break beats for me to

totally dig... but nevertheless this is great stuff, especially for home

listening or at outdoor parties... if there was one artist whom i would like

to make music like, it would be eat static... nuff said

Finally a review section for this album! This album is bloody awesome no doubt

about it.. It covers such a wiiiiiiiiide array of electronica genres in pure

awesome style.. Eat Static have put together a masterpeice here, and shown

that they are capable of SOO much. there are some absolute killer tracks in

here, but don't expect kill tracks to mean what it usually does on this site -

it's not very much a psytrance album, closer to experimental if anything..

very professional and artistic stuff. 9/10

Indeed pretty good album, and very varied. I like the first part of the album more than the second part though. Thumbs up for tracks 1 and 3! Nevertheless the tracks with 4/4 kickdrums have pretty poor and simple rhythms, even if the tracks sound good. Too bad.

Pretty variable album ! I can say even good, but not THAT good comparing to their previous works.

Here you get incredible mixture of electronica, lounge, breakbeat, downtempo and some house. I like their diabolic arrangements with many ironic remarks towards the world.

This album is surely not for everyone, but it will be likeable to the ones that are open to variable music and some changes in style...7/10
