Yes this is so nice...!! It sounds like 'Alien Protein' but much softer,

very nice melodies on the first three tracks and

then the tempo goes up on #4 and it reaches its final climax on 'Moon

Influence' which is a very good track!! Very nice

melodies through all the tracks and not a single disappointment. If you like

'Alien Proten' you need to get this one, it's

almost as good!!

I like so much Etnica's style!! This album is really great and peacefull.In

fact, the first trax are a little ambient I think, but the quality is here and

Etnica doesn't disappoint us.The melodies are nice and some others tracks go

faster with a large kick and some enjoyable melodies.A good CD,especially if U

like Etnica's kind of goa. 7/10

GOOD Album ! But I prefer Alien Protein ... this style is less psychedelic,

more peaceful :-) My favourites are Tracks 4,5 and particularly 7 ! There's no

Bad Track here (maybe except Track 1) ... Rating : 7/10

Don't need to describe psytrance, just play this album! the real spirit of

psytrance music. I've heard it thousand times... and it's not old (maybe

production cause it is made betwen 1992-93) just out of time. Thank's Max for

this great pleasure.

This is the good old goa sound as it is still supposed to be nowadays. Many

artist that are named as "goa" trance, are actually far from it. I'm not

saying I don't like it. I just wanna bring up my opinion that for instance GMS

is not goa, though it's one of my faves.

Goa should be about feelings, divine melodies. Personally I don't consider

music as real goa until it gives me this certain dreamlike brilliant India

feeling. I recall somebody pointing to this already, but many groups nowadays

are just some tech-trance.

But this album, it really gives you the ultimate India feeling, probly best goa

album ever released. All the tracks are good, 1,4,5 are very good, and the

last track, "Mystical appearance in goa" is totally a masterpiece, divine

track. BEST! I can't hype it enough .

Of course Alien Protein is better, more achieved, but this album is actually

quite enjoyable. Most of the tracks are fairly ambient, with dreamy melodies.

It sounds a little old, but it's not too bothering. The style of a couple of

tracks reminds me a lot of Jean-Michel Jarre, for those who know him. I fell

in love with Moon Influence, one of the faster tracks. Mystical Appearance is

also very good. 6.5/10

Boring. . . No matter how many times I listen to it, it seems that none of the

tracks take off. Its your typical plane that almost got enough speed but

finds itself in the ocean. Their first album was nuts! Their Pleiadians

album (IFO) was a mind slaughter going ape shit in between the ears. This

one, its like waiting at a bus stop. Fucking boring. . .

and I must say even today when I hear Track 7

I have tears in my eyes masterpiece of work

superb track One of the best I ever Heard....

I feel bad that today etnica(With The Album Retox)

are not even close to this style (Only with Today Ambient's)

Mystical Appearance On Goa is the best Goa track I've listened...!! Very Superb

with an introduction of 4.30 minutes!! and then you enter into an other

dimension!! wow...More of 10 minutes of real goatrance sound...only for real

goa people!!....However this album is ALL superb and very melodic.... rating

9.5/10!!!! BUY IT IF YOU FIND IT !!!!

First of all this is Etnica's first album (before Alien Protein) and I consider

it just as great because this album defines the term 'Goa Trance' like nothing

else does. It's not the 'kick-ass'-factor that counts here but the

India-influenced melodies. That means it is Goa trance in its purest form and

a vèry special album for (re-)discovering the roots of the psy genre. My

favourites are 'Infinitive Dream' and of course the epic finale 'Mystical

Appearance in Goa'. Btw, the track listing says "3.Vicky's Dream" but in this

track you can hear the same final melody as in 'The Gili's Voyage', so this is

the 'Ketu Remix', track 4 then must be 'Vicky's Dream'. Thinking about the

nice atmosphere that it evokes, I give it a 10/10 for being a superb debut

album.

There's no point in these tracks, it's more like a chill album (yes, even the

faster tracks). Absolutely no party killers here. It sounds very dated as well

(Alien Proteïn on the contrary). But I just got it and I'll have to listen to

it in different states of mind for my definitive opinion.

STUNNING album...I don't understand someone saying that this is chill

album...IT IS NOT...There are 3 chill songs but the rest is pretty fast and

even wild ( Spheric Concept ) ...It is changed Etnica from their first one

but, still similar sounds and effects...Best on album : INFINITE DREAM, MOON

too soft for me. it doesn't do enough. i love alien protein, and maybe that's

why i was disappointed with this cd, it's not the same style. the sounds make

you want the songs to get harder but they just don't.. some really nice

melodies though, i just think they had a lot of potential that wasn't used.

anyway... 6.5/10
