Children
V/A - Kiss The Future 1 Artist: Various Title: Kiss The Future 1 Label: Atomic Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'01" Morphem : Hypnotone 02. 07'05" Semsis : Temptress 03. 08'27" Tortured Brain : Electroencephalotramme 04. 06'20" Man With No Name : Retox 05. 07'17" Antidote : Miyukette 06. 08'18" Psychaos : Reality Hack 07. 09'39" Tim Schuldt : Ohm Shiva 08. 07'09" Viper : Snaked (Black Cobra Mix) 09. 06'46" Spies : Inorganic Being Review: Well ... Track 1 is really original, Tracks 4,5,6 are good (but I think Psychaos style becomes always the same ... same bass&drums than most of the Tracks of his album :-( Anyway I think this Track is better than all the Tracks of Cause And Effect album, but not as good as his older stuff), but I don't really like other Tracks, particularly Tracks 2&3 ... Rating : 3.5/
Guest stam
The first tune by Morphem is one of my favourites, long strange intro and one hell of a powerfull tune.... the rest of the tracks don´t move me....but the Antidote track is beautyfull.... Guest [Anonymous]
dark, industrial-influence psytrance - kinda weird, but u gotta be in "that" mood to appreciate it. i do.
Guest Mindbender
This stuff lies somewhere between techno, industrial and psy-trance, but is more inclined towards psy-trance. First I didn't like this too much, but the more I listen to it, the more I seem to like it. Now I actually like this very much indeed. Track 7 is really the only mindblasting track (creepy), but all the other tracks, except 4 which is average, are goo after you get into them. Track 3 is really crazy industrial noize-paranoia, but is 'only' good because it repeats itself too much. I like the original sound of this compilation very much. Especially when I'm in a bad mood, this is a good compilation to release my aggression in a peacful way, because of the harshness of the sound. 8/
Guest AtomikElf
a pretty "harsh" comp. it's definitely dark-edged the whole way thru, with track 7 just blasting off. it's not really my style - it's too "rugged" and seems to lack flow. i think atomic is keeping with the darker more techno-edged sound, instead of the usual squelchy or israeli psychedelica. i guess it's their niche in the global trance scene. so, it's a good comp if u like it hard-edged and dark, and i'd say it's not so cool if u like it fluffy or full-on or minimalistic etc. but i'll rate it 7.5/10 , because it is good, although it's not my cup of tea. u get what i'm saying here?? hehe
Guest boomwizard[at]hotmail[dot]com
Good stuff here but Hypnotone is AMAZING a track that I never get sick of hearing a true classic 8/10.

Guest Arthur
OK lets correct this!!! First of all this compilation was released in 1998 not 1999. And it is one of the top 10 best compilations of that year. Atomic stuff rulez !!
seraph
Good ol' ATOMIC Records and their demented outputs. This compilation is filled with twisted, dark, deviant tracks, it is their typical wild psy style and here they gathered best of the best out of the scene to twist our brains. I like their peculiar artists choices and the best tracks are : HYPNOTONE, ELECTROENCEPHALOTRAMME, RETOX, REALITY HACK, OHM SHIVA...8/
Guest CvEeden[at]Maties.sun.ac.za "or"
WHAT WHAT!?! You nooo like? Just the presence of Ohm Shiva by Tim Schuldt (THE MAN!!!) on this compilation makes it one of the best (Here I have to admit that Ohm Shiva is my favourite PsyTrance track of ALL time. It's SOOOO incredibly powerfull. I can just imagine a host of Angels marching/flying off to war with the demonic hordes; hey it's my interpretation! {Anybody know Tim Schuldts telephone nr of e-mail adress?}). The Psychaos, Morphem and Tortured Brain tracks also kick! And come on people, if you've ever heard any of these tracks performed live (Wow I love living in South Africa!!!) then you will UNDERSTAND. Truelly this is an amazing compilation, no if only I can find it somewhere!!! P.S: Come and enjoy a summer of fun in Cape Town with the most kIck-ASS psytrance parties the multiverse has ever known!!!

Guest psygroove
Viper : Snaked (Black Cobra Mix) is a killa :-]
Sideffect...
A disappointing release imo. Probably the wurst track man with no name ever produced. Even the morphem track is mediocre. The tim schuldt track is the only track that makes it a bit worthy...
Trance2MoveU
Artist: Various Title: Kiss The Future Label: Atomic Records Date: October, 1998 01. 08'01" Morphem : Hypnotone02. 07'05" Semsis : Temptress03. 08'27" Tortured Brain : Electroencephalotramme04. 06'20" Man With No Name : Retox05. 07'17" Antidote : Miyukette06. 08'18" Psychaos : Reality Hack07. 09'39" Tim Schuldt : Ohm Shiva08. 07'09" Viper : Snaked (Black Cobra Mix)09. 06'46" Spies : Inorganic Being "Have we seen the actual reality of a monstrous crime...or an illusion, a product of a tortured brain." Original. Harsh. Dark. Hard edged. Techno & industrial influenced. All of these terms have been used to describe this. And they are all correct. It's futuristic music, perhaps set in a time when the machines have finally taken over. I can hear the opening of Hypnotone blaring through decrepit speakers in a human internment camp. There is nothing subtle to be found here. Electroencephalotramme is metallic percussion and wailing guitar with charged particles. Retox brings the goa back from the darkness and Psychaos is its usual chaotic self. But for me the track with the most depth is the Snaked Remix. It's brutal in your face style is part goa and part Front Line Assembly madness. The album is bull in a china shop forceful yet some of these tracks still manage to tell a story. If you are in the mood for something deep and different, and don't mind falling into an alien world then suit up. Mdk
