Guest Protex Midget
Tromesa - Laksmana / Stereopian Artist: Tromesa Title: Laksmana / Stereopian Label: Psychic Deli Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. Laksmana 02. Stereopian Review: This release is not like the usual TromesaBigwigs minimalistic style. This is dark and full-on. Track one is very stompin' and fast. Very powerfull stuff. Even though it is full-on it is quite repietive, untill the 6th minute, when a melody kicks (610). Track 2 is less powerfull but the background melody is kind of clubby, and the production isn't impressive. Also repeitive, and fast. This is a dissapointing release by tromesa (it doesn't even sound like them). It's a shame becuase Tromesa ar one of my absolute favorite groups ever. Anyway, don't forget that this EP is from 99' so maybe that explains the different style. Anyway... Tromesa can do better (and they have done better!!!) Guest liszu[at]interia[dot]pl
I'm from Poland so I have to explain. Both track are on the second album of Tromesa - "Gdyby..." (only in Poland). It was released in 1998. Hardware limits - that's all. They maked Stereopian in colaboration with DJ Krisb (most popular minimal DJ in Poland). Both tracks are Great. Both are experimental and hard to hear.
