mahoney
Bus - Let's Go Artist: Bus Title: Let's Go Label: Flying Rhino Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. Sweetness 02. Let's Go Review: Gus Till has made two very progressive and twisted trance tracks on this EP. The A-side (Sweetness) is very progressive and quite dark (but not evil) and it builds up with different strange effects and noises. In the end it has a very strange break with a lot of manipulated ultra-twisted voices which ends up with a great (dark) melody and nice kickdrum coming in. Now you can really feel the energy and you understand that all the progression was nessescary. Really nice! The b-side is also a very progressive track but more full-on then the a-side and explodes in the end as all the progressive stuff, very dance-floor friendly! If you like the new ultra-progressiv style of Slinky Wizard and other material coming from Gus Till you should get this one! 100% guarantee that you will like it if you´re searching for dark, progressive trance filled with energy! Guest wobblish[at]hotmail[dot]com
New ultra-progressive Slinky Wizard stuff?! Where? What label? Please enlighten me! I haven't heard sweetness yet, but Let's Go! is a beautiful track by mister man Gus. Ultra groovey, and impossible to sit still with. It has a very atmospheric Alien 4 sample molded perfectly into the track. "Don't make me do this... don't make me make you.." it's wonderfull, and if you don't know it yet, give it a listen! mahoney
Not much of the Slinky stuff is released yet, but I´ve heard them live rescently, and that was veeery very progressive. :=)
Basilisk
I disliked it strongly back when it's popular... I wonder if I would like it now. Edited April 3, 2006 by Basilisk
Guest Mindbender
I found Sweetness boring... Nice production, but nothing really grabs me on this one. However, on the other side, Let's Go is very groovy indeed. Good track. Overall 6/10.
Guest MG
I may be synthetic, But I am not stupid! It's a good track, not the best & not the worst (Let's Go) as for sweetness, I haven't heard it. I like Matrix by Amphasis better!
