Review:

The cd kicks off with a morning trance tune and a catchy riff played on an

exotic stringed instrument . Very melodic and sunny.[2]is again catchy morning

trance but this time the hook is played by sitars for that authentic 'Goa'

sound. The backing rhythm features breakbeats over a solid but not heavy

kick.[3] starts with backward loops leading into a night-time tune and has

both acoustic and electronic string parts. Pretty effective and hypnotic but

not as much as [4] which has a harder kick behind flute samples and does the

most dancefloor damage so far-the darkest yet but still friendly.[5] slows the

pace and moves into acoustic spaces with Spanish guitars and more flutes.Very

chilled.[6] starts mellow and carries on that way picking up a beat and a

piano. This doesn't really work for me-a bit too close to a "Chill-Out Ibiza

"clubby vibe.[7] is better and picks up speed -a more upfront morning tune

with breezy strings which leads into the full morning 'afterglow' vibe of

upbeat[8] which has an optimistic note to finish on.

This album might appeal to you if you're a fan of 'Movers And Groovers' and the

Flying Rhino chill-out side of things but also has an ethnic/world music touch

to it which sets it apart from them.Nice cover and paintings inside -this has

a 'home-made' feel about it which is quite appealing and what it lacks in

production values, it makes up for in personality.

This cd is not as good as "son of the light", imo it's bad produced and too

boring 'cuz it's repetitive and not as spiritual as Son of the light release...

I never heard the first cd of YMS called "Andean trance" if somebody have this

one, maybe we can trade !?!

I think Titin Moranga did this album too fast`'cuz it could be A LOT better

with more ideas and more trippy/spiritual sounds on each tracks..

Best songs : 1,2,5

Rating: 3/10 ...because I'm kind! :o))

PS: Titin, if u read this..please! continue to work with good artists as

Christer B-lunde or so...continue to be well influenced by spirituality, your

wife, your son and the whole life, please, don't stop to make great music with

great flute, guitar, voice samples...continue and TAKE your time to deliver us

another good album in the future :o)

A fan,

Dj Zen
