Guest Philip Xmen Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 I've bought this EP, and I agree the sound is both clean and phat. The tracks are not the typical full-on, and are best used as breaks between to powered-up tracks. One of the tracks features a great sample from Star Wars - Return Of The Jedi, when C-3PO and R2D2 gets ansigned for Jabba The Hutt. 7/10 Quote
Insejn Posted June 15, 2002 Author Posted June 15, 2002 Bamboo Forest - Miam Miam Artist: Bamboo Forest Title: Miam Miam Label: Flying Rhino Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'51" Miam Miam 02. 08'26" Random Force Review: 2 tracks from the forthcoming Bamboo Forest album "Random Force" due to be out in June. And a must say that I like every BF track I have heard. And this is just as good. It's typical BF style with the fat sounds and 'rassling' lines and noises. Again I really like the bas and baslines I don't really know why. They are just so 'clean'. If you want not know what I'm talking about. Listen to Pleonasm. These track are kinda similar to that track. But they sounds newer ofcourse. Final Verdict: 8/10 Quote

Guest modiglianiseye[at]yahoo.co[dot]u Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 why is there even a question regarding the merits of vinyl over cd......pfff! I'm with fiba here. But yeah, bamboo forest is a consistant pleaser. Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 So when are these going to be moderated to just include reviews? Makes you wonder just how much of Psy Trance has been 'corrupted' by 'tourists' who can't really grasp that the music is just a part of the whole. All you need to do is read the posts on place like here... Things that make you go hmmmm Quote
Guest Zeus Class Posted June 20, 2002 Posted June 20, 2002 ***this website is simply going down the tubes in quality***... I don't understand this. Psytrance/goa is getting too mainstream and cracked out teenybopers like Habib are finding it attractive because they are just too cool for raves and hip hop and what not... more scenes are plagued with people like Habib than peaceful loving unified Hippies that are tolerant and virtueous enough to change people and recruit new members who will revitalize the Spirit! The culture is endangered!.... I love Bamboo Forest I really hope they release a album some day for all the honest cDJs out there. Quote
