Guest Zoltar
Nuclear Ramjet - Music For Spaceports Artist: Nuclear Ramjet Title: Music For Spaceports Label: Ascend Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 14'16" Brightness 212 02. 08'58" Deep Blue - Inner Mix 03. 07'36" Those Who Digg 04. 10'18" Delta 1.73 05. 07'55" Evolution 06. 07'10" Synthesized Society 07. 12'06" Wherever 08. 05'59" Near Earth Object Review: I'm really confused, I didn't like "Age Of Aquarius", the first Nuclear Ramjet album released in 1998. But now, this is another story, these guys have reached a new level of maturity. What a delicious surprise. Tracks: (1) Peaceful atmosphere, smooth strings and unique style. (2) Perfect balance between minimal and psychedelic trance, dark and fat. (3) Deep and powerful beat, Spirallianz ("One Way Ltd."?) sound-alike. (4) Not so hard rhythms with fine progression, the minimal way still leads the spaceship. (5) Decent work, can we say old school psychedelic trance? (6) Good representation of the first album, *okay* track. (7) Sweet melodic trance with sitar and flute samples, back to the source! (8) Short ambient and groovy end, time to chill brothers! Overall: better than "Age Of Aquarius", no doubt about it. Interesting trance melting pot, for only $18.99 CA you won't be disappointed. Nuclear Ramjet is actually the best canadian trance project and does occasional live acts in Montréal, QC. [8/10]
Guest SoberGoan
Although it doesn't sound much like psytrance, this CD is pretty good, especially for chillin. You Goa-Heads think anything that isn't Goa is shit. Get real, there's tonnes of other good music out there.
Guest "THOSE WHO DIG !!!!"
"THOSE WHO DIG" is a very cool track DELTA 1.73 is also cool BUT trax number 1, 6,and 7 are filled with horrible fluffy meaningless melodies!!!! IF U MAKE TECH-TRANCE U SHOULD STICK WITH TECH-TRANCE !!i dont know why the hell did those guys put such trancey trax in such good album i give it 7/10 i would give more if the album would be more techno oriented

spannungsbogen
First: I usualy hate everything minimal psy and all non-goa cheese stuff, but here as my fellow psyfreak(varg_nicolas@hotmail.com) says, this album is fucking unbelievebly GOOD psy bass stomping! Very mental. Very hard and very melodic at time. You relly have to listen each track closely.
Guest becagraisse
This album is amazing. Because ALL the tracks are very good or awesome. Most of the album is cold, mecanic and the sounds are very well put together. I have practiced this album a lot and still find it excellent. If someone knows something similar to this album, i would like to have the name please !!! This album is coming from very inspired artists. My english is approximatif. Désolé je suis francais (c'est pas une tare :-))
Guest earthborn44[at]hotmail[dot]com
Maybe it can be in a set along some progressive trance or things like matenda, secret vibes, nectom, new age hippies, vaishiyas, kilophil mmmmmm, it is really one of its kind, very hard to get in a set, maybe the best would be spreading all the album randomly in a set of minimal progressive and see what happens. The ethereal melodies of nuclear ramjet would be then the main interest/theme of that mix.
Guest Acidhive
Great stuff here.. Really, there's more to this music than you first imagine. All tracks have a great lead, and really seem to take you somewhere, like a good track should. Though this would not immediately be psytrance, this DOES rule!! All tracks here are great, especially that track wherever.. Listening to it now... these are some 12 minutes of quality stuff.. Yes!! 9/10 for this album. Real good stuff!!
