As this website doesn't seem to have any reviews of Dakini cd's I thought I'd start it off with what must be one of their best. The tunes enclosed in this cd are frankly gorgeous - if you like to really calm down after a good party, or need sounds to travel to (physically or mentally) then this is ideal. It is one step more chilled out than, say, sphongle, but there's a hell of a lot of thought that has gone into some of these tunes. Slightly surprising therefore that the two tracks co-produced by Gio (Makyo and Padmasana) seem to hold samples that have been kicking around for years. Neverther less, these two track still have a fresh flow to them, and when united with the other 6 tunes, I'm certainly not complaining. Drift's 'arc en ciel' is a highlight for me and anyone who isn't moved by that should stick to their amphetamines. Jaia's effort is also a worthy one - but any tune on the cd would find it into my chillout playlist. 8/
freak51
Certainly, at least tracks #1 and #7 are already released. However, this is still a very strong release for chillaxing. Multiverses has some cheesy voice samples that somehow work in context. 8/10.
bomble
Actually I think that this was where those two tracks were released first ! Certainly this came out before the Yakshini album with Tantrika on it, and also before the Fahrenheit comp with L'ivresse... though that isn't to say that these tunes weren't released elsewhere... soem aeld
sooo smooth, sooo beautiful and sooo calm! this CD is simply great! It's great now when all I see outside my window is snow, snow and snow and I'm sure it will be just as good when all I see is green grass, flowers and butterflies! Light a few candles, light a nag shampa, put on this CD on repeat and read for hours.. perfect atmosphere! 8/
