Guest Deku81 Posted March 25, 2000 Posted March 25, 2000 V/A - Neighbourhood Artist: Various Title: Neighbourhood Label: Medium Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'03" V-Ger : Pan 02. 11'01" Volldampf : LA 03. 06'30" Magic SUN : Mammut 04. 09'02" Noma : Appat Vivant 05. 08'26" Magic SUN : Mr Ed 06. 08'32" S-Range : Apocalypse 07. 08'14" Prex : Spectrophonic 08. 10'13" Chi-ad : Monsters Review: Really cool compilation! I didn't know any of this artists except Chi A.D of course, before I heard this compilation, but it sounds surprisingly good! That first tune has a nice pan flute floating around in the back of it. Progressive stuff with nice drums and melodies. Second track is also very cool, it got some nice breakbeats and a nice melodie too. Rest of the compilation is progressive and dark, and the quality are high on every track! Last track by Chi A.D has guitars and a cool sample from a movie that I don't know the english title of.. hehe,. All tracks would fit great on the dancefloor.! Not the usual stuff I guess, but very good!!!... Rating 8/10 Quote

Guest Acidhive Posted July 21, 2001 Posted July 21, 2001 Great compil from Medium once again. Starts off with the excellent Pan, rolls on more progessively with L.A., a great track with some D&B influences. The Magic S.U.N. tracks sound like S.U.N. Project, only fatter beat-wise. Noma & S-Range deliver dark scando tracks, with great atmospheres. P-Rex is more quirky, and up-tempo like. Ends with the terrific original Monsters by Chi-a.d.!! Overall, a really great compil filled with nothing but great tracks... ! 8,5/10 here! Quote
