Guest Genetix
E.S.X.S. - New Hymn For Goddess Artist: E.S.X.S. Title: New Hymn For Goddess Label: Mechanik Sound Date: 2002 Track listing: 1 Mechanic Day Dream (8:35) 2 Chromosome X (7:47) 3 A La Recherche Du Yeti (7:29) 4 Creep & Craps (To Mob) (7:12) 5 Electric Flower (6:41) 6 My House Is Back For A New Generation (6:21) 7 Religious Games (8:25) 8 When Sex Begins Primitive (10:01) 9 Bloody Sword (8:51) Review: Well here it is the new album from Neuromotor. It is not the same style like Neuro Damage. More invention here. He has great inspiration from his wife. And is much faster (144-148 bpm). Well lets start with the review. (t1) Dance floor burner. Great track with nice melody and beautiful singing in the middle of the track. Mechanik effects all over the track. (t2) In the same style like the first track. The rhythm has changed a little but the point is the same. (t3) I don't like it really. I don't know but it is not that good like the first two tracks. Little annoying for me. (t4) The noise is driving me crazy. The sample from the track. Great track with lots of good effects and good arrangement. (t5) Electric flower. The best name for the track. It has electric feeling all over the track with nice samples. (t6) The worst track here. It has one really bed voice sample. My house is your house. Your house is mine. Old sample in old techno tracks from the early 90's. (t7) Morning feeling here. Good track with nice groove. (t8) Longest track here. Long fast psychedelic journey. If you survive this trip you will understand the track. Good tune for the midnight. (t9) fastest track here. 148 bpm monster. Really great and scary samples. In the end good unexpected melody ends the track very good. Overall very good album with lots of energy and nice bass line. Much better than Neuro Damage. I give 9.0/10. Guest Glaeken
The album is cool... especially tracks: 1 - 5:30 min. rocks !!!,2,4,5 - at the beginning dialog from Blade Runner movie,9. I give to that album 8,5/10 cause track 6 totally suck.. sounds like club rotation to me with that text "my house is your house....". I think it's one of the best albums released in 2002 !!! danger
Nice album, much better I think than the Neuromotor album. Electric Flower and Bloody Sword are superkillers!
Guest Goagabba
This is great. It has that hard Neuromotor full on feeling to it, with a couple more melodies thrown in to please his wife (the goddess). Track 4 is probably the most psychotic psytrance song that I've ever heard. Wouldn't want to be on too much acid when this get's dropped. And track 5, well track 5...the music is good, but that sample. My house, is your house...no, why did you do it? No house, is our house. Other than that one song, I dig the whole album. If you like your Neuromotor/Plastik Elephant/Crazy Lions Club and recent Acidance releases, you'll love this. 9/10, (10/10 without track 5)
Guest Xymaths
Boy am I sure glad I made the right choice in choosing this one-imagine Neuromotor with less acid and alot more digital flow, where almost everytrack can be played on the dancefloor with devastating effect-that is something I couldnt do with the last Psyside and Neuromotor cds. Just listen to the first 2 tracks and if they arent anthems of the killer kind I dont know what is-lets hope this kind of full on sound sticks around for a while
Guest asshopper
one of my top 3 album of this year, love these hard heavy bass lines, a little melodies... and nice textured riffs... this is the style i like! LOVE IT!
Guest earthborn44[at]hotmail[dot]com
Hard baselines, very nice, sometimes outdated and repetitive, pointless frecuencies, (not so powerfull on the mind) The first track has that opera voice sample from a track by psyside (i think is lost soul) but more long the singing, very nice, the latest 2 tracks of this album are also nice, #7 the fastest killer one (i think)and #8 a very good melody at the end, too many voices samples in some tracks for my taste. Excelent to put in a neuromotor/parasense/sinisterfunk kind of set.
Guest VBRunner
Hmm, oh yes. I really like this - a lot! At first I had no idea it was Fred Talaa but I'm not suprised. I've become kinda hooked on all his stuff lately. And this is his best work yet! I love those wrenching basslines. The sound is not full-on à la GMS etc, but very driving, mean and powerful. I'd love to hear this in the middle of the night instead of the usual progressive stuff. One of the most positive surprises this year! I enjoy all the tracks, but Mechanik Day Dream does stand out. Guest Musashi
Sometimes i see voice samples in tracks like a egoist stuff, if it is not something very universal it's better to take them of (trance parties are everywere, not only in english speaking comunities), i like my sets without any conversation or voices (only beautifull women singing without using words) i think if you like ppl to get conected with music, words are meaningless. Some very good psytrance tracks get killed in my opinion with the use of cheesy voice samples IMO. There is a track by suria (nonny) who has the sample :"life...life...life... LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!" I like that in particular hehehe.
Guest Dark Light
GMS is boring and get more depressing from day to day ! damnit , they have to change their synth's ! however , it goes nice in parties , in home its suX !
garraeth
This CD rocks!! I love "My House Is Back For New Generation", "Bloody Sword", "Chromosome X" (cool Dune samples in there), and pretty much all the songs. 9.5/10 (9.5 because "When Sex Begin Primitive" is just "ok").
