Guest Ubik
MFG - New Kind Of World Artist: MFG Title: New Kind Of World Label: Phonokol Date: 1997 Track listing: 01. 07'15" Electric Bubbles 02. 07'53" When We Dream 03. 08'11" Experience 04. 06'51" Alien's Land 05. 08'25" The Waking Mind 06. 08'51" We Are The Machines 07. 08'03" Born Into A New Life 08. 07'40" Peaceful Relaxation 09. 09'31" New Kind Of World Review: This is the second album from MFG, another strong representant of Israeli Trance with AP. This album is better, more mature, more underground than their previous one. Electric Bubbles is the only track that I don't really like. It's really dark with only a strong bass line. The other tracks are all good, in different styles. My favorites are the two last tracks : Peaceful Relaxation and New Kind of World, which has a wonderful melody, very deep. 8/

Guest Tequila
Another great album of israeli trance. With some good melodies and a better sound, we can see that MFG is more skilled in making goa trance. But even if this album is excellent, it sounds a little bit too much israelian 4 me. 8/
Children
Good Album ! Maybe Track 1 is a Bad one, but the other Tracks are not Bad and my favourites are Tracks 3,5,6,8,9 ! Rating : 7.5/
Guest SpaceCowboy2002[at]hotmail[dot]c
After getting a taste of this album on the internet, I eagerly awaited it in the mail, and was not disappointed. Uplifting spiritual megatrance of the highest order. Lots of depth. The phatness factor is high. Plop yourself down in a comfy chair in front of a good stereo, play this album, and close your eyes. Wala! You are in the cockpit of a disc-shaped metallic craft with anti-gravity drive and all of the trimmings. The music is your warp core, pulsating with energy. Tap into it. 9 out of 10. Guest despret.alain[at]wanadoo[dot]fr
What a great album! The first one was boring (yes!), and in 1997, they get out this 2nd album: it's really an other side of their talent! "When we dream" is one of the best songs I ever heard! I feel they had a great work to compose it, and it's really wonderful! "Peaceful relaxation" is very fast, melodic and powerful! Litteraly their best album! (1st and 3rd are not at the same level...). 9/
Guest F-AcTivE
Peaceful Relaxation (6;05) makes me really turned on =) , Very good album , i give it 7.5/
Guest smg
There are no bad tracks, and some of the tracks are even great. I like "When we dream" best, it's absolutely fantastic, yet powerful and full of melodies. New kind of world, 5, 7 and 8 are also good tracks. Keep shootin, MFG. I give 8/10. Guest [Anonymous]
thats one best albums ive ever heard you have to hear track
Guest simon magus
This is what is good in IsraTrance. A classic, must have. The buildup halfway through 'The Waking Mind' is so damn good, aaaaaa. . Melodic, yet deep, not just a bunch of sounds with no meaning. Three thumbs up.
Guest Ehsanur
A classic when it comes israeli trance. Simply a piece of music history. 9/10 Svuuuuuuuuuusj-------------Eshanti Brahman
Guest Isra-Alien
I agree with all the above. But How come no-one said anything about the incredible We Are The Machines?? One of MFG's finest ever. The only bad track is the first one.
Guest MFG-Fan
This must be the best compilation i´ve ever heard. So energetic and great, lifts you to another level, especially those cutbreaks during every song(expect song 1) where the song immedietaly changes, and flows! Get this one! But damn it, MFG´s recently released albums dont have the same high-quality as this one
Guest ©Goa FreaK® Aarhus
Well... like the other guys, i would say that this one is the best ever.. track 2, 8 and 9 are the best ones.. especially Track 9.. listen to it you all.. it got this very cool intro, before the bass get´s started.. and after about 6:22 min. you´ll hear one of the most great melodic vibes ever ... i´ll give it 9/
Lemmiwinks
Hmmm, at first I didn't really like this album, except for Peaceful Relaxation, so I put it in a drawer for a few years... But now I listened to it again and I find it's great!!! I don't know, maybe my tastes evolved or maybe this just seems good in comparison with what's out lately... But I find it's a killer album. Peaceful Relaxation is still my favourite, but now I like The waking mind, very psychedellic and full on, and Born Into a New Life reminds me of the acid house scene some years ago. Great album!!! Guest My Freakin' Gnocchi
Some intros sound too much like AP. The general production is a bit too noisy. The end of the songs are great though. 6.5/
Jon Cocco
2018 Edit *Update* -- I didn't like this album either when I first heard it. I had heard Project Genesis first, and initially thought that was their second album, so I was expecting something darker at the time. Not that this album isn't dark. I recall feeling that the KICK DRUM was more prominent to the point the synths were slightly less further away than I desired, then they were in The Prophecy and Project Genesis. Long story short, I do NOT agree with what I wrote in 2001. That's how I felt at the time, and so I-- get this... set the album aside for YEARS TO COME, never giving it a second listen... FOR YEARS. Fast forward several decades. Holy crap time flies. This album is FANTASTIC. Not every song's an A but the album is SUPERB. Interesting how perspectives change over time. I eat less meat, dairy, and gluten (wheat), cut out all unhealthy meaning outside of Chipotle fast food (since 2003) and soda. I would have never been open to those changes before the time my mind processed shifting over to the changes. Nor did I think New Kind of World was even THAT good. Wow was I wrong. This is one of the best electronic albums ever made and MFG... thank you guys so much for this imaginative, ultimately positive, mind-expanding music you showered upon us over the 90's. My original comment in 2001-- .................. I love most of MFG's stuff, but this seems to be nothing interesting. I don't know, maybe it will grow on me. Track 5 on all of there other cds have been incredible, like Illumination, Why?, and Feel like God, but track 5 on this cd, The Waking Mind is not that great. MFG usually builds up there tracks to the middle, where their songs usually maxout with amazing depth and potential. I don't see that here. No track is amazing on this cd. It has the usual MFG style sound that I remember in The Profecy, but I find The Profecy much better. This could be the reason why their music has become more dark. I like their darker stuff much more. This is nice goatrance, but thats the only thing I feel. Both that and somewhat bored. Hopefully it will grow on me more, but the first time I heard Why? on Project Genisis, Illumination on The Prophecy, and Feel like God on The messege, I did get it the first time. I don't really get anything here, except that MFG wanted to make a nice cd aimed directly for the dance floor. Not bad, but nothing amazing. Face it, MFG can do amazing. This is not. But if you really like MFG, you may find this cd great.
Guest Quetzalgoatl
The track New Kind Of World is perfect!!!! That's how goa is supposed to sound!!!!! Don't have the album so can't tell anything 'bout the rest. Oh yeah, have half the track Born Into A New Life and it also kicks ass untill it's cruelly broken off (goddamned)!!
