mahoney
Soul Pitcher - One Way Ticket Artist: Soul Pitcher Title: One Way Ticket Label: Optimus Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'59" Resest Devises 02. 09'23" One Way Ticket Review: Time to make a review of this EP from Optimus Records, which is an label based in Israel, but this is for sure not any Israeli trance . Reset Devises, which is my favorite here, has a very clear sounding progressive production. It is very beutiful with a melodie ala Vibrasphere coming now and a lot of echoing effects that builds a really beutiful atmosphere aound the track but the music is slower and not as dark as some of the Vibrasphere tracks, and there is also different percussions and snares popping up in the track. Very clear and clean, top quality production! One Way ticket is faster and feels a little bit more like atmospheric techno, but it´s still top quality and very good. It´s a little bit more monotoneus but still very beutiful, it builds up with different atmospheric sounds and percussions. Sometimes I get the feel that it sounds like the track The Archer by Sagitarius, which is on the EP review section, and I don´t really know what the style is called, but a hybrid between atmospheric techno and atmospheric hardtrance maybe is the right description? I borrowed this from a friend which is really much into house, so I guess if you like house you will like this, but I can´t really see any reason why . If you like Spiral Trax Int. or other Scando releasing labels, I think maybe you will like this.
Guest DJ Supernova
yes, this is a quality ep. both tracks are very good. "one way ticket" was featured on Optimus' "Firewire" compil and "Humus Conspiracy 2". i would say that soul pitcher sounds like somewhere in between ticon and vibrasphere. i'm expecting a lot from these guy(s)? both tracks are excellent, but my fav is "one way ticket." it's one of the most sublime tracks i've heard. so progressive and so captivating! shouts to soul pitcher! 8/10 for "reset~" and 9/10 for "one way~"

Guest Acidhive
Indeed, pretty good, though their best track IMO is still: It ain't over till the fat lady sings...! These guys are: Haim Levi & Rami Shapira, with Haim writing all the tracks and Rami doing the production. Excellent progressive stuff here.
