freak51
I've only heard the Tristan/John Om track. It's excellent, even by my jaded standards.
Basilisk
There's maybe two or three good tunes here but it's all fairly listenable.
Guest Ravemail10
Love this comp. Pretty soft in comparison to the stuff I listen to today, like "Cybermancy" by Wizzy Noise :-) But, it's as good a soft break as you can find this side of Shpongle. Best track "Sliding Particles", simply a masterpiece, I play this everyday. It sounds as if nothing happens in this track, but when you listen to it completely it builds up beautifully. I played this album when working on 3D studio max and made a really trippy rendering. If anyone interested in seeing it drop me an email :-) Overall 8/10 for the comp - more like this please! DeathPosture
First of all, let me say that I was EXTREMELY dissapointed when I first heard this comp... Man, it sucked, but after about a month or so, I decided to give it another try... And for the last week I've listened to it from start to finish at least once a day, and I'm beginning to grow REALLY fond of this... I don't know what to call this kind of music... But one thing is sure, it isn't goa... It is psychedelic though, and that's all that's important to me... You have to listen to these tracks MANY times to like them, but when you've done that, you get hooked... My fav'es are Zodiac Youth : Cartographers Of The Universe, Ticon : Stinking Thinking and Zen Lemonade : Squeeze Your Karma [Almost sounds like something you could hear on the commercial radios doesn't it?... Whatever the hell it is, I dig it! :-)]... Anyway... This started out by being a 2/10 but has slowly develouped into a 7.5/10!... Bom shankar! Guest Tchankov I.V.
Great comp! The first time I listened to it I didn't understand it, of course Yet after the second listen it gave me an idea what immense potential it contains. Ever since this comp is giving me a bunch of unspeakable impressions with every listen & yet this damn great thing keeps growing on me... These impressions are positive & deep, what could be expected from GOA-music, but it isn't goa. Not minimal either! I'd classify it like refreshing, emotionally deep & at the same time intelligent music, at the edge of goa/psychedelic-style, but with its singular multi-layering & mind-altering features. It's surely many times better than the previous, the 4th, Order Odonata, which, as it was righteously noticed, had no unity in it. All the tracks here are being perceived as a whole, which gives impression of an album. Yeah, Raven, more like this, please! & I rate it as 8.5/10! Guest Alien
I agree with above. This album has good shelf life as it is a well arranged CD. All the tracks fit together. If I lay down and just listen it sends shivers up my back and holds my attention through out. It may have one weak track accoring to prefrance but no outstanding ones neither 8.5/
