I got some news saying the police busted the party, that it was full raining and half of the artists didn't show up. Guest gus Posted August 1, 2002 Share Posted August 1, 2002 i was there!!!!!!! friday night all the djs and live acts played! saturday night it was raining a lot and tthe psy-trance and ambient stage didn't work so everyone played at the techno stage!all the djs and bands where there but some of them didn't had the chance to play!sunday mornig till monday noon all the scheduled artists played at the techno stage! the police took the organisers to the police station because the musik at the psychedilk stage was so loud and some residents of skotina was complaining about the noise! but most of the big names played so i beleive it was a good party despite all the difficulties!!! mars Posted August 2, 2002 Share Posted August 2, 2002 Because someone was afraid something like that might happen in samothraki, i wanna point something : solaluna and samothraki are absolutely not the event and crew !! first, solaluna has already happened, while samothraki has not yet. second, solaluna was on samothraki island last year, that's why you may be confused, but it was in fact a cooperation between the actual samothraki crew and the solaluna crew...but i heard the solaluna team was only into big event organization, and not into psytrance at all..yet the festival was good but i heard the solaluna team was not fair at the end. this year, solaluna was *not* on samothraki and was organized by the guys *not* into psytrance. whereas samothraki is being organized by the samothraki crew, the one *into* psytrance, it will take place on samothraki island. that's now 2 completely different events. actually if you were at solaluna2001 and want to experience the same awesome kind of festival, just go to the same place, for...samothraki dance festival. complicated, eh ? thx Roopak for having explained me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
