Guest bugbread
Hmm...I don't really know how to help you there. Since it's a bootleg, it isn't being sold on their own website, and I don't know any places to look for bootleg CDs of TV shows (frankly, I didn't know anyone even MADE bootleg CDs of TV shows). Guest r2d2
How about you name some releases for Japan only that the rest of the world should be paying attention to, and even more important info how/where to get it. I just bought Tokyo Tekno Tribe first comp. I found out they released few onther cd's but they told me that they don't sell it any more:( I also heard of some band called Zeta from Japan. Who are they?

Guest bugbread
The good news: Found the CD - Megalomaniacs Show Time The better news: You can buy it. http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...2485390-4669815 The bad news: No way am I going to translate every page of the signup process and purchasing process at amazon.co.jp. My recommendation is to find a site that does automatic translation (if it exists for Japanese). That, or hope that amazon.com and amazon.co.jp are designed identically, and use one as a reference for the others. And for you, r2d2: Artists to keep an eye on: Ubar Tmar - Either very experimental or very video-gamey, depending on the album. Kinocosmo - Psy-rock, kinda like S.U.N. Project. Uni - Psy, sometimes with vocals But, to be honest, I wouldn't know good Japanese psy, because most Japanese psy is minimal, and I don't like minimal and therefore don't know the artists or the good vs. bad. As for NON-psy Japanese, that's easy: Boredoms - old stuff - noise, noise, sweet noise Boredoms - new stuff - Trance-inducing guitar-and-drum-and-can't-describe-it-but-it's-good Rovo - Trance-inducing guitar-and-drum-and-can't-describe-it-but-it's-good AOA - Trance-inducing guitar-and-drum-and-can't-describe-it-but-it's-good Harakami Rei - Drum-n-Bass-like something with lots of pure sine waves and great sounds. Saw him live---amazing. Merzbow - Pure, white noise. Sends most people fleeing. Psycheouts (or Cyche Outs) - Superfast anime jungle craziness (not Psy related, despite name) AV Yochien (translates as "Adult Video Kindergarden") - Superfast anime DnB craziness Boredoms - Because you can never overrecommend the Boredoms Basically, the psy scene here is pretty minimal and boring, but more alternative scenes have good stuff. As for finding them: I dunno, look around on the web. I'm sure not gonna try to track down English pages for every one of those. Remember, Google is your friend.
