Insejn
V/A - Parabola Artist: Various Title: Parabola Label: Phantasm Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 09'06" Hex : Kin 02. 07'09" Mindfield And Cosmosis : Psycho 03. 07'54" Mumbo Jumbo : Techno Boom Boom 04. 07'58" Cubica : Dr Mox 05. 08'55" Orion : Ultragroove 06. 08'03" Tromesa : Ciekly Zwiazek 07. 07'33" Neoris : MDFM 08. 09'13" Wizzy Noise And Har-Ell : Wizzy God 09. 06'51" Fluffy Puppy : How Many Beers Review: Starts out pretty good imo. Nice steady groovy beat in the first track with well fit sounds. I don't really know what to compare this to. So let's forget about it. Track #2 is also groovy. I like this better then the first one. More psychedelic with very nice sounds. Good production and all that. The next track..hmmm...good percussion. Not so much sounds as in the two previous tracks. But good anyway. No more to say about that track. Track #4 is not so good as the others. Quite booring, and doesn't really reach a top gear. To bad. Track #5 is better. Steady beat and rythm. This one, as the other tracks lacks of some kind of "break loose" somewhere in the track. Track #6 is more in the "oldschool" direction. Constant synth sound ticking. A little more melodic then the other tracks so far. But still a good track. Even tho the production lacks a little. Track #7 is the worst so far. Sounds very "empty" if you know what I mean. Oh well...Let's move one. The next track (8) is faster and has a good end. It will for sure catch you. Not that dark either, Wizzy use to be dark you know But its a good track indeed. Track #9 and the last one is common to track #6. Kinda "choppy". But nice. Ok. Enough! Best track: Mindfield and Cosmosis - Psycho Final verdict: 7.3/

Guest kirkdirt[at]freeuk[dot]com
In my opinion Bill Halsey is a bit of a genius and whatever he touches zings with originality and cleverness so there is no surprise that the two tracks that stood out for me on this album were the ones he co-produced. They are tracks 2 (Mindfield and Cosmosis - Psycho problem) and 3 (Mumbo Jumbo - Techno Boom Boom). Having said that I regret to say that nothing else on this disc amounted to much at all. Tuneless rhythms that travel nowhere and are devoid of any emotion and joy. I thought Psychedelia was at least in part about finding joy in life but this is mostly about being spooked. Guest Jason - Los Angeles, CA
All of the tracks are pretty decent in my opinion. My favorite is the Tromesa track.

Guest Psymantic
I always look for new good morning tracks and MDFM from Neoris (n.7) is that track I looked for my private parties to play it at morning part.. and also I found that Psycho problem from Mindfield&Cosmosis(n.2) and Ultragroove from Orion are strong tracks too... Otherwise I didn't found anything good in Wizzy Noise&Har-el's Wizzy God. It's not a "god" one. Wizzy Noise make all their best tracks without Har-el! Wizzy god should be better to call Har-el God ... So "Wizzy God" for me is really empty (instead of others) and boring too.
