Children
Boris Blenn - Paradise Connection Artist: Boris Blenn Title: Paradise Connection Label: High Society Date: 1995 Track listing: 01. 06'14" JS Distortion 02. 06'49" 111 Beltrees 03. 05'08" Acid 3 04. 07'59" Portamento 05. 10'44" Longbaceglider On Solstice 06. 12'52" Electrogarden (Feat Jeboa) 07. 21'29" Source Of Emotion Review: Pretty Good Album ! This album was built before Boris Blenn started his "Electric Universe" experience :-) Tracks 3,5&6 are average, but Tracks 1,4,7 are really interesting, PARTICULARLY TRACK 7 !!!!!! I would NEVER imagine I could find one day a GOOD Track taking more than 20 minutes !!! The last 2 Tracks are ambient, other Tracks are psychedelic ... Rating : 6.5/

Guest Industrial Metal
Fantastic Boris Blenn encompasses a range of interesting tracks into this release but the surprise is in the fantastic dreamy track "PORTAMENTO". A powerful acid killer which icreases your adreline by 200% and gives you the same feeling as if youre lost in acid. Can trip a voyage so long my mind would not find space enough to hold ...... Guest z
"Portamento" is _soooo_ great, I've had the album for years now, and I still can't stop listening to this excellent piece of work... *wow!*
Lemmiwinks
nicey nice album from Boris Blenn... Unlike most (oldschool) goa, instead of having a lot of leads, Boris likes putting just one or 2 leads and repeating them over and over and over again... which was what early pre-goa trance was all about!! Bad part is that he STILL does this 7 years later!! (listen to EU - Unify and see for yourself...), but strangely enough, I never heard anyone complain about him never changing his style whereas groups like AP and Asia 2001 are constantly criticized for it. Ah well, I like it anyway!! One track I'd recomend all goa-historians who want to see how it all began is 111 Beltrees... it shows the transition from newbeat industrial to goatrance wonderfully!! Listen to it and you'll see what I mean!! ALL tracks here are good IMO, only Electrogarden has some bell-chimes repeated all along the track which really get on my nerves. Great last track, I'm a BIG BIG fan of intricate more than 20-minute tracks and this one delivers quite nicely (and is more or less the ONLY track that has many leads... which is good since listening to the same lead for 20 minutes would bore me out of my skull!!). My personal favourite is Longbaceglider On Solstice !!! Great slow and trancey track that just goes on and on and on!! You don't even notice when the 10 minutes are gone!! 9/10 for this history masterpiece!!
Guest Raynor
This album is one of the best albums in music history. So slow, so warm! It might sound monotone, but that's just nice...belive me! Listen to Electrogarden and Source of Emotion and get great influence for own productions! It's like moondancer says "You don't even notice when the 10 minutes are gone!!" 9/10, great! Guest Amnesia
this album was a killer back then and even right now i have been playing portamento alot of time in the woods but for the info the album and artist was Paradise Connection - Paradise Connection and not boris blenn - Paradise Connection
seraph
This is one of Boris Blenn best albums. All along with One Love, he released two of the platinum albums back in 1995. He was really at his peak back then. This album is perfect blend of ambient and trance. Strange, cosmic atmospheres, lots of unidentified flying soundz, this one is essential for every trance freak. he should it re-release it and master it cause the value of this album is enormous. 10/
NEMO.BOFH
this album was a killer back then and even right now i have been playing portamento alot of time in the woods but for the info the album and artist was Paradise Connection - Paradise Connection and not boris blenn - Paradise Connection Thats right. Got 2 copies on Vinyl of this. Anyways, this album was back in the days, one of my favorite albums as well. I played it A LOT on parties. a 10/10 from myself as well, but I do agree that it could do with a re-release/re-master Suntrip?!

Manuser
1995 ? that's superior to most Electric universe albums... there is no weak track here, that's an awesome release, very mature for its age! Well done Boris
