Guest skincom[at]mullum[dot]com[dot]au
SUN Project - Paranormal Artist: SUN Project Title: Paranormal Label: Nova Tekk Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 08'39" Computer Breath 02. 07'41" Luna 03. 07'58" Out Of My Brain 04. 08'07" That's A Trap 05. 08'21" Under Control 06. 07'42" Simplicity 07. 07'35" Paranormal 08. 07'14" Chaachoolka 09. 07'29" T8 10. 08'31" Solitude Review: The 4th release from SUN Project the metal group turned trance. The cd begins with a track also available on Goa Head 10 Computer Breath. This theme continues until the middle of the cd by which time the guitar samples arrive and the tone of the release changes. I can,t help thinking that the guitars seem out of place at times as this style is better left to Cubinate or kmfdm type outfits but having said that its still ok as they dont contiue through out the whole cd.Not as dark as say the Delta or Spirallinz but cool , good builds and some nice sounds. Computer Raider aider aider aider. Cheers :-) Richard from Syikom
Guest Ricky D formerly X-Dreamer in NY
Not as good as the last album but it is not that bad.
Guest goa_2000[at]mail[dot]ru
I think it's differ than SUN's first albums, but it's still very good. This album is more psy than Zwork or Drosophila. My favourite trak is "Luna". 8/
Guest tristan from goa
i`d say, too clubby sometimes, too monotone sometimes and those guitars really come anything but pleasing.. guys come on.. hook yourselves up!

Guest the_chair81[at]hotmail[dot]com
i think this are the best album Sun project have done... They have another style on this album and it sounds very good... good work!!!
Guest AlexG
out of 4 sun albums i like this one and "macrophage" the best. in my opinion, this is better than "zwork", and i don't really like the early goa style of "drosophilia". so, with a nice mixture of hard-bassline-driven and guitar-driven tracks, this gets a strong
Guest AlexG
btw, i recently saw these guys live here in san francisco, and i can say they rock the house! and (surprise!) they actually do really play live! the guitar player was working great with the crowd and doing amazing solos, they had a real drum set which the drummer was using, and the third guy was playing along on the keys. you could even hear the bassline drift off-beat a little bit sometimes, but i'd take that over dat's And effects (which is what most acts do) any day! keep on rocking guys! Guest HHund[at]gmx[dot]de
Computer Breath has the coolest sample ever. COMPUTER<
Guest astral universe
Great album from s.u.n project. best in my oppinion. "That's a trap" is really awesome. mmmmmm, 8/
Guest mikrozomme[at]bgvirtual[dot]zzn[
When I heard the album for first time I said-what a shit it is.But the next listening I said-fucking great! The best track is "That's A Trap"-exclusive samples and great atmosphere. There is one bad track and this is "T8".But I think this album is worth buying, although I like the "Macrophage" style even more with brilliant tracks like "space Dwarfs".Ah,the last track is pretty good ambient.so I give it 8/10. Guest jacues_thiart[at]yahoo[dot]com
9/10 I really like their stuff especially track 2(luna)and7(paranormal)its a morning-time rocker!!
Guest aricz
nice album, i like this better than the other three albums they've released. a whole new sound, though some of the tracks still have the guitar. "that's a trap" is a real killer followed tightly by 'computer breath'. 7/
Guest Per Sterud
You know how you sort of get attached to a band's earlier albums before the new ones come out? Like I.F.O. for instance? Same thing here. Some really good tracks, with clear signs of innovation, except I thought Macrophage had much more energy and a sense of enthusiasm and adventure than either Zwork or Paranormal. But again, there are some seriously good tracks here. Computer Breath is one of the best ever - great intensity, build-up, and very sexy sampling. That's a Trap is full-on Psy. I don't know why they chose the mix of T8 they did, but the original mix is superior and should have made it to the album. The last track, Solitude, is a great ambient track - normally I find Psy-Trance acts don't quite know how to do ambient well because they tend to use the same aggressive sounds only with a slower tempo, which generally doesn't work, speaking for myself of course - but this one is functional, again with sexy sampling. Whereas I'd rate Macrophage a 9.5/10, I'd rate Paranormal somewhere between 7.5 and 8/10.
Guest Goa Spirit
Great Album... Am freshly back from GOA itself... I heard a lot of their tracks in GOA this year.. I must say i am very impressed :-).. full on power tracks from the germans.. i even loved the guitar samples.. tracks 1,3, 7 and 4 are my favorites.. in my humble opinion the best by sun project album so far... just put on 'out of my brain' (track 3) and you'll know what i am talking about,,, 8/
Guest Kikbert
I think this Album is a little bit better than Macrophage which was my 1st Goa Tape. ´Out of my brain´ and T8 kick ASS. 8,510 ´cause the guitars are too often and too monotone. Guest ZARAKNON
Paranormal is my first S.U.N. Project album but I have also some of their older tracks, so I must say that in this one there is less 'Psy' than in the other albums, though this is not minimalistic. Nevertheless it is still very uplifting, even if it sounds somewhat stupid and banging in some places. The old rock band spirit is still there, so if you don't mind that and want some wicked rocking stuff that just smashes the dancefloor, you can't do wrong with buying this. I like especially Out Of My Brain, the ultimate guitar burner in here. Oh yes, Solitude is also a pretty good closing chill track. For the whole thing: 8/
Guest [Anonymous]
this reallu sucks.... their best song is Tribolus
Guest GoBliN
I think it's a great album of sun project. out of my brain , paranormal are awesome tracks. i was in a SUN project live yesterday and they played a couple of tracks of that album. these crazy guys came to the stage in Alien suits and started to make their thing. it was fucken amazing , 10000 ppl were driven crazy in the Independence party in Beer-sheva in the south of israel. you could feel the energies in the air. these guys gave a very good preformance with guitar melodys. i think that was my best live act so far....!!!! Guest Dart Wadder
Very forgetable...very monotone and boring...BORING!!!
Guest rx7style
This album is bad. It's not goot technically, and at most I can MAYBE count 6-8 layers of sound. Usually it's less. This album is boring, lacks musicality, and sounds just a little TOO weird sometimes. Not worth the listen if you ask me. SUN Project is FANTASTIC live though... don't know what happened. 3/
Guest [Anonymous]
The least of all their CD's in my opinion... Only Out Of My Brain is a really great son, the rest isn't that great.
