Guest Mindbender
Texas Faggot - Petomans Peflett Artist: Texas Faggot Title: Petomans Peflett Label: Exogenic Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 05'58" Hector Sector (Generals Favourite) 02. 04'13" Love Ice 03. 04'40" Hoosianna 04. 05'04" Lung Lock 05. 03'39" Jäätelöautomaatti 06. 04'54" U 07. 06'17" Rock The Beat Now 08. 03'34" Impastil 09. 05'30" Breast Boogie 10. 03'07" Lemuria 11. 04'20" Millenibum 12. 05'13" Humour Tumour 13. 12'54" Resergean Review: The new album from Texas Faggott continues on where the last one left us. Their style has progressed, but it is still familiarly the Faggott's. This is a completely insane and funny fusion of styles. They've mixed a bit of everything on the basis of psy-trance: electro, funk, Finnish pop, you name it. The music is very colourful and bouncy, ridiculous and mad. I should also say very 'full', not too much space left here. This album has moved closer to "normal" psy-trance in a positive way, still retaining the Faggott sound. The melodies and sounds are also better than on their previous album and these new tracks are more varied. Tracks are very short, but still progress surprisingly much, resulting in very densely packed tracks. The progression is sometimes maybe even a bit too fast. Hector Sector (1) opens the album well. It's more "normal", but still crazy. Good. Love Ice (2) is good and takes the sound more to the faggott style, where Hoosianna (3) can pick it off, being one of the best tracks on this album. Great melody/sound at the end crowns this awesome track. Lung Lock (4) is really crazy, maybe a bit too crazy. Jäätelöautomaatti (5) has a sample from a finnish pop-song and is really funny. Good. Tracks 6 and 7 are both good and insane, but nothing really special. Impastil (8) is really good, more "normal" sound again. Breast Boogie (9) would have been better without the changes in tempo in my opinion. They ruin an otherwise good track. Lemuria (10) and Millenibum (11) were released on the 'Back to Mad' EP. Lemuria (10) is another awesome track with a really good groove with a great bassline. Pumping! Millenibum (11) is good, but nothing special. The same goes for Humour Tumour (12). Both are good music. Resergean (13) is great finale for this album. Less pumping, but still not really chill-out. Something there in between with lots of crazy sounds, like the whole album actually. This has to be some of the best finno-trance out there. Just need to be in the mood for this, can't listen to it all the time. 8/10.

Wild beat and very special sounds and samples make this album very individual compared to other psy-records.. Great job boys. FINNISH psy kicks ass.. Guest Anonymous Faggott Lover
Orgasm, Orgasm, Orgasm! I cannot possibly express my passion for this album, I could not profess my love enough. I never post reviews to this site, but I was compelled to. Here, now, stoned, and listening to it...and this only by it's sheer beauty. This is a trance MASTERPIECE, in a genre all it's own that I hope Exogenic Records will help extend, in the future. You will NOT get over the genius to this trance. What can I say. The album beings with Texas Faggott playing matchmaker to couplings of beats that wouldn't sit in the room together, subversing them into fucking out a double-helix meiosis in rhythm. It ends in the wonder of the final tracks, where beats rain fire upon eachother, with a sample as each's call to war. Either way, I never ceased to be amazed. Give it a listen, and check if your opinion shifts from these guys having done too many psychedelics, towards having never tried enough yourself. This is a far more serious album than the singles and EPs we've seen from Texas Faggott lately, while still maintaining it's sense of humor, and I hope they keep heading in this direction. I give it a 9.5/10, although this is about as close to perfect as it gets. It's only flaws being a poor choice as a first ("favorite") track and a curious anti-climax of an end track. I reside in the states, but I pray that I live to see these guys play live.
Guest Infected[at]jyrki[dot]com
Faggot Rules...i have seen it live 2 times and its so fuging krazy......and this new album rules much better than the older album...GET IT
Guest [Anonymous]
This album is really splitted. The only tune i feel is good allthru is Hector Sector. Most of the other tracks have really good sections but also terrible amature sounding sections. They should work more on each track and try to keep it more thin... We danced before to the faggot's live show on the deserts in israel, & it was one of the best raves that israel have ever know. faggots, u got the hotest line 4 this day in the trance world. after listening to the faggot alboms, all the other trance music sounds so empty , low & slow...we want more of texas faggot's psy-moments. and Timo... u should come again to bomb us in the deserts... Rani will be happy to see u again. Kick ass in the San francisco!! Happy new year!! keep up the crazy sounds (((-: waiting 4 new stuff... Guest faggot_åke[at]hotmail[dot]com
I dont "understand" Texas Faggott.. it doesnt sound professional at all... it's like someone has been playing around without any thought at all... my 5 year old brother could do better than this shit.. ok... its funny sometimes.. but not THAT funny..
Guest g_aardwark[at]hotmail[dot]com
i definitely agree with faggot_åke. everybadi can do better music than everyone else. nobody just does it.. some people do, and the others are jealous. at least i am. if åke's bro can make better muzak than Pentti and Tim, i would really want to see his "live". this discussion is SO not needed. maybe the faggoty freq's are too dense and deep for åke and his bro, or the soundwalls are too vivid, who knows. stick to ace of base, mate! Guest psytranceguru[at]yourmommma[dot]
Well personally i think this album blows. They live up to thier name as far as faggot is concerned. Me being from Texas take thier name as a diss to all people from Texas who like psy-trance. They should have named themselves Swedish Faggots!!! Nothing against you Swedes just against these two guys. Personally i think they need to explore thier own tracks some more. My 2 cents. Guest She who controls the CIA
is that they have limitless potential, however this album is poorly produced and comes off as amaterish... Further is not nearly wierd enough to make up fer the fact that it donT flow 2 well at times... Love that 1st track tho! Just my $15$ worth...
