Guest Pit-UFO
V/A - Pieces Increase Artist: Various Title: Pieces Increase Label: Digital Structures Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 09'28" Son Kite : Bla Bla? 02. 07'26" Necton : Beethoven 03. 10'31" Ticon : Nose Noize 04. 07'12" Bigwigs : Quo Vadis? 05. 10'00" Son Kite : Tonal Disruption (Live Mix) 06. 08'54" Llopis : Darcrow 07. 09'37" Shaman : Safari 08. 07'10" Qlap : Shakable 09. 08'42" P Woland : Inzained (Rmx) Review: Big triumph from the flamboyant Son Kite´s label. A compilation carefully balanced. You will find floor stompers, slower tracks and minimal experiments but always high quality releases. Son Kite, Necton, Shaman and P-Woland bring us the best moments, but the rest is also really good. A special mention for the profiles of the artists in the booklet and the excellent design. Big BOOM to swedish electronic music. 9/
Guest omrirmo[at]usa[dot]net
great compilation!, lots of good tracks here, nice atmosphere. really liked the bigwigs, necton (though it was released on a 12" sometime ago), llopis and both son kite tracks are really nice!. the overall of this compilation is pretty good, not to mention that its the first cd from this very naughty label. 7/10. Guest ir0nm0nk3y
Wonderful compilation for those that enjoy the minimal german/scando trance sound. They are all here. Two track from Son Kite, Necton, Ticon and Bigwigs. The few tracks that I have heard from Bigwigs just completely send me over the top. I love their music. I hope to hear more comps like this and much more from Bigwigs.
Guest Acidhive
The guys above me say it all, so the only thing I can give is my opinion, and that's this: It rocks! If you like Son Kite, you'll love this! Especially the Ticon track is extraordinary again.. Full album coming soon!! Can't wait for that one. Rest is good too, with Shaman and Necton also delivering killer tracks.... But as I said, all tracks are good!! Over 70 minutes of pure minmal heaven IMO... 8,5/10 here

Setsuko
I realy like this compilation , great work by Peter , Sebastian and Marcus ... the coverdesign is as usual very professional ... very clean and done with care .... I found the tracks on Pieces Increase all very tribal , The Bigwigs track is extremely 'dark' , when you hear it it's like you're going through an electronic jungle ? . Other highlight are the two Son-Kite tracks , I realy like the Live mix track with extremely hypnotising drumrolls ... the Qlap one is a stomper , wow ! my fabourites are 1,3,4,5,8 and 9 ... Keep up the good work , this is one of my favourite cd's ... psychedelic rating : 9,5/
Guest Mescalinium
I've been a big fan of this comp for a while now (ever since I began my infatuation with digital structures really...), but nobody above has mentioned one of the best tracks on the album: Llopis - Darcrow. This has to the best all-track by Christian Llopis... the sounds, particularly on the lower half of the spectrum, are immense... it's extemely dark and atmospheric... in other words, a killer! freak51
That's funny - after all the positive reviews I thought I'd love this comp, but I'm afraid it didn't do anything for me. 4/10, but I must confess I'm just basically waiting for the X-Dream: "Irritant" to come out and give the sound some much-needed new stimulus. Setsuko
well , what's so funny about it ;-) ... it's just a matter of musical taste ... btw , the build up of Inzained (rmx) is superb ... this cd still grows on me ... and it already was SO AWESOME :-) ... a must have !
