I decided to buy this one after seeing MOS and Atmos were on it. (2 of my favourites) The rest of the tracks is also pretty good, I'll go by it from track to track. CD 1 begins with a track from Digital Sun, which starts with a nice guitar and warps into a normal paced, kinda melodic goa track. Up next is Spirallianz, which is quite a change suddenly, as Spirallianz is really dark and quite minimalistic. Most people I know don't like it, but I say 'Screw them'. Spirallianz is cool! As is this track. Next up is MOS. with one of their newest, which is also quite dark, though not really as minimalistic as Spirallianz. Samples from a movie in this one, and It's quite a good song, although their stuff on the Bug CD was a little better. Next up The Delta, with a song probably everyone knows by now. Rather good, although IMO Supercell and As A Child... are still the best songs. Eargear comes up, and I've never hear! d of them before. They deliver a really dark and moody, minimalistic kinda style. A little like Spirallianz, although not as harsh sounding. P Rex follows with a song which reminds me of Hux-Flux. There's a real hypnotic sounding sample behind most of this track and it is a great track IMO. Next up is The Gab! (Gabriel le Mar) and he delivers a song which is rather minimalistic and distorted sounding. But good. Then Johann Bley comes up with a track that's not bad, but it's nothing memorable. That's the problem with this track. With a little more effort it could have been great. Alas, on to track 9 which is Synchro. One of his better new tracks here, it's got a pounding beat and a great use of some samples. On to CD2 which starts with Atmos' Cable Enable, which is an epic track and already one of my alltime faves. Atmos' calm style takes me there. It rocks! Massimo Vivona is probably working on his comeback. A long time you don't hear anything from the man, but lately he's bee! n appearing again, doing remixes and stuff like this track here. Real good, with a great kickdrum and acid sounds and a nice string occasionally. The Surprise of this compilation IMO. S-Range sounds like P Rex only a little more melodic. Psychonaut sounds like X-Dream but weirder and harsher. Disco Slickers is Tarsis and Intact Instinct working together and the endresult is a pounding minimalistic track. Great for the dancefloor. Chi a.d. delivers a rather unusual number full of chaos. A diversion from his usual style. This one is quite complex and may take a few listens to appreciate. (Especially if you're used to tracks as Moonart) But it works in the end. SBK is one half of Tarsis. Minimalistic and dark and great!! I like SBK. I hope Sebastian Kruger is working on his Solo Cd... ! Children Of Paradise.'s track reminds me of Bloodsuckers, only a little shorter and a different melody. Tarsis end the compilation in style with Broken, one of the better ambient tracks of late. Overall, recomme! nded. 8/10 from me.
