Insejn
Saafi Connection - Prince Of Paranoia Artist: Saafi Connection Title: Prince Of Paranoia Label: Spectrum Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Impact 02. Desert 03. Deep Space 04. Kaimera 05. Prince Of Paranoia 06. Monster DNA (Rmx) 07. Dream Way 08. Illegal Alien 09. Total Experience Review: Get ready for another well produced full-on release. It sounds like a mix of Alien Project and GMS. I guess that cover the whole thing. No slow tracks on this one. But I'm starting to get sick of this sound. Always the same structure etc. No new ideas, no new sounds in any way. A little more imagination and inovation next time please. Final Verdict: 6/
Afterhourz
Well ok since Saafi connection consists of a member of Atomic Pulse But the sound is darker and the bass is much more emphasised . Still I especially like 4,5 and 8 . Only another remix of Monster DNA with probably now the sample which is most used :)is too much. Still I love to listen to this album and some songs can easily be put into a dj set... I'll give it a 7.5/10 because it lacks true originality but nevertheless it is not so bad...listen and judge for yourselves people
Guest Smarthowie
Personally I think this one is just like any other "typical" psy-trance cd nowadays... Nothing new, just the same style, good if you like GMS, Alien Project, not good for those of you who like Psyside, Droidsect etc. Too commercial for me... 5/
Guest Dr Cheroot
Very nice release, familiar sounds but not irritating like ALien Project or GMS, this one has a life of its own. Maybe a little too familiar for home listening, but u will be jumping up and down on the dancefloor. definitely recommended for DJs, also a good buy for home-listeners if u haven't got too much of the same stuff already. 7.5/
Guest Fergus
Good solid release from Israel-sounds a lot like alien Project but stripped right back and most of the uplifting melodies gone. tracks 5-9 are all killers and worthy of a good play out. probably the best release from israel this year-verdict 8.5/
Guest Vbrunner
Straight copy of what we can safely call the standard modern full-on sound, created by GMS and fine-tuned by Alien Project. Only lacking their quality. It doesn't get less original than this. Nine very similar tracks and not once is it really interesting. The DNA remix is the only track that even gets close, but even that one is far inferior to the original (well, the AP version). Very disappointing. raider
I like the Saafi Connection style very much, it's more chilled and groovey than the usually Alien Project and GMS tracks.
seraph
Nice release, slightly weaker than Atomic Pulse but still bouncey and catchy...Pyschedelic and demented at stages and still remaining melodic...Best on album : DESERT, DEEP SPACE, PRINCE OF PARANOIA, DREAM WAY, TOTAL EXPERIENCE...7/
