Review:

 

This compilation is actually a gathering of tracks from Koyote Records between

1995 and 1998. CD1 contains the newest stuff with tracks from 1997 to 1998.

There are some really outstanding tracks on CD1, especially tracks like

Ominus' "Mindbender" and "Perceptor" by Hux Flux. "Perceptor" has that dark

and mad scando-sound, while "Mindbender" is really powerful and hypnotic.

Miranda's "Somewhere Out There" is also pretty good. Very powerful and

somewhat similar to "Mindbender"! Underhead's "Unify Feeling" is very cheesy

(Return To The Source anyone?), but after some time you can do nothing but

surrender to the beauty of that track. The other tracks are average or

slightly above average. CD2 contains tracks from the period 1995 to 1996 and

is therefore inclined to be a more cheesy than CD1. It does contain some

memorable tracks though, like Ominus' "Acid Tester" and Miranda's ambient

theme "Wheightless"! Overall this is an average compilation, worth picking up

if you find it!
