Anoebis
V/A - Ptzatzot 3 Artist: Various Title: Ptzatzot 3 Label: Kajoonk Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'39" Iceman : Implant 02. 07'53" Syndrome : Pet Cemetery 03. 10'26" Astrix : In Peace 04. 07'29" Destination : Cycle Melody 05. 07'05" Syndrome : Alte Zachen 06. 09'35" Iceman : K.k.6000 07. 07'59" D-Jagger : Foundation 08. 07'58" Astrix : Eakis World 09. 09'39" Gentech : System Overdrive Review: The 3d (and last) of the Ptzatzot series... The first was Outstanding, the second was still good, but already too cheesy, In this one there's simply too much cheese in most of the songs... The music that was called "Ptzatzot" in 1998 was véry close to Goa-Trance and very psycehdelic... This last ptzatzot is close to Nitzhonot (or it simply is)! Ptzatzot means "bomb" in hebrew, and when you listen to it you'll understand why, full on smashing bassdrums, very fast and many, happy melodies... I must say I like those smashing bassdrums, but the melodies are mostly terrible... Really "wave your hands in the air"-melodies!! There are a few songs who are mediocre (3,5,8) but that's not enough to save this CD from low points... 4/10. ps: I was wondering something, is this Astrix the same as the one who helped Alien Project??? Guest Diepeveen
You can hear some of the same Astrix sounds on the Janana comp. wich was released from Typhoon Rec. in... Oh can't remember... - Pure cheeze with very hard bassdrums... But still, Janana is a quite old comp, and i'm suprised that Astrix stil makes this kind of trance... Guest Isra-Alien
Well, In Israel when you say Ptzatzot, you don't mean quality trance... the opposite infects. Cheesy melodies, annoying bassdrums and the "gooood morning israel" samples. Ptzatzot, Nitzhonot, it's all the same shit. Compilations like this are the reason for Israel's shitty reputation in the trance scene.

seraph
Not so well produced melodies in this compilation but for me there are 3 outstanding tracks : IN PEACE ( Stunning song, great melody and good ride - 10/10 ), PET CEMETERY ( pretty good, freakish song - 9/10 ), SYSTEM OVERRIDE ( Pumping, crazy song - 10/10 )...Rest is simply not that interesting, has some quality but lacks imagination....For those 3 songs - 10/10 , for the rest - 6/
IAMbenjy
ptzatzot 3 or ptaztot 3 Or as we call it the " infamous Nitzonot" album P3 by cajoonk records. 1999 1 Iceman - Implant 2 Syndrome - Pet Cemetary 3 Astrix - In Peace 4 Destination - Cycle Melody 5 Syndrome - Alte Zachen 6 Iceman - K.K. 6000 7 D-Jagger - Foundation 8 Astrix - Eakis World 9 Gentech - System Overdrive track 1 ICeman - implant . Starts out the real "YEAHAA" way. eloctronized melodies from the falafel-bar with a lovely lazer kick and old bass. the bells the miiieeuuuwww sounds on the background, the machine gun kick Cimaxes.. I really really love this song. track 2) When you hear the 'normal trance jhonny' say in a sarcastic tone :" meh "goa" isnt that that weird music with the Animal sounds ; eliphuants and shit." and you say ; " yeah isnt it wonderfull!!??" well the 'Pet Cemetary By syndrome" is such a song.togehter with The lazer bass kick, the early sweepy goawave in the back and the happy turkish 'bell' melodies makes this song a nitzonot classic. 3) talking about classic songs wich they played a zillion times in the early days. In Peace by Astrix definatly takes place in the top 10 most turned songs ever. with the catchy melodie. and the basic background sounds of a classic goasong. the funny fade ins and fade outs of the kick. trippling baslline ,cheesy climaxes. Haahaa this is such a carnaval song. lovely ... this makes sence why astrix makes such catchy music these days... 4 )Cycle melodie by Destination has an emotional melodie. taken right out of the egyptian love songs in the time when they build the piramids. really "Goa artists" in the days are reincarnated farao's if you ask me. to bad it goes too clubby and too cheesy. with little goainfluence. exept maybey fot the kick and the hyats. real fast. track5) Alte Zachen by syndrome . I remember when they played this song on the dancefloor and you see the people space out make twisting moves with their hands when they hear the foreing language. it seems you hear a chanting from a prair. it seems to be hebrew. you hear it a couple of time's and people love it. but what you really hear is a guy who goes around with a truck in israel saying ; " old Iron , copper, zink , used battery's and stuff like that again the classical nitzonot combi. the lazerkick classical 3times fastkick. and nice melodies to take you away into the promised land. Track 6) Iceman with - K. K. 6000 this song starts like an old video game when you face the boss. a creepy bassline you might even say. the nitzo melody continous the feeling.from the middle the nitzo melody and the kick pick up the past and you start jumping and moving again. Nice long Climax and a good rolling bass takes it over till the end... Track 7) D-jagger with the song foundation . keep the automatic machine gun kick rolling.taking more layers then usual and having chaotic nitzo melodiess. Track 8) Astrix - Eakis world . Ass all nitzo songs it starts out like a normal goatrance song . seems to me to have one or two layers more then a normal nitzo song. some samples. but after the classic climax combined with a 303 sound. the nitzo melodie takes over.Astrix is not afraid to have lots and lots of melodies, repeating them.and again making them very catchy. the cd ends with a song from Gentech called System Overdrive . more mystical melodies and very lsd spacy. the marsians did land when they played this song. and even an early scando influence it seems slower kick. the happy melodies i keep looking for this song is. But it goes out at with a climax blast. This is my aboslute nr 1 favorite goatrance CD ever. Ok its not goatrance it's Nitzonot . Its cheesy its out dated. Its so much over the top. but that is what makes it wonderfull. when i play this kind of music and my mom is here she says= 'well i like most of what you play but this is real 'fair'-music when you are in the bumpercars. maybe i love it because i finally found something my parents dont like I can put this album on anytime and just start smiling and dancing. this music is as dead as can be. and Dj's dont play this because All dj's have this Ego finch. and ofcourse when you play this kind of music. One half of the peole in the partie run aways saying =" what shit is this?" and the other half has the party of their lives. people with hands in the air jumping and spinning from one side of the dancefloor to the other. this really gets a 9/10 from me... first review too this is. i know i repeated some words too much. but hey its nitzonot for a reason ey. Guest Cosmogenesis
Very good uplifting compilation! Reminds me the Janana compilation, as the tracks aren't so cheezy and, on the contrary, high quality nitzchonot. It's a must-to-have in every goa collection!
