Guest naf
Indeed, CD 1 Track 3 is great! Basically this compilation is full of average acid-based songs. If you have some extra cash then this is worth buying, but otherwise you should buy something else. Try Pulse 6 instead.
Guest ZARAKNON
Very good comp, Pulse is one of the series that introduced me to goa trance & I still don't know why I didn't buy Pulse 1&2. The 3rd part has some really awesome tunes on it, the best ones are CD1 tracks 1,2, 3(!),5,8; CD2 tracks 1,3,6,7. Many tracks (at least 5) are at 150+ Bpm, so if you like fast tracks you should check out this gorgeous comp.

seraph
Very good Pulse volume...It is not that melodic and happy as first two but more darker and twisted at some stages with lots of quality...Tracks fit well each other...best on CD 1 : THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT ( Another Simon's diamond ), BETWEEN THE NOTHING ( nuts, crazy classic ), HOWLING AT THE MOON ( phew, this is great ), CREATURES ( Very good Australian psychedelia ), FREE RETURN, SUPERLUMINAL ( ! )...9/10...Second disc is rather melodic and has great songs like : ANGELINA ( ! ), TEN YEARS AFTER ( ! ), MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, WHIRLPOOL, MAGNETIC ACTIVITY ( ! ), SCREWDRIVER ( ! )...9/10.... Lame Deer
It was by means of this compilation that Goa first touched my heart. I found it somewhere in the public library, took it home with me and was perplexed from the first tone on. The lion sleeps tonight - ...and simply say I've lost my way, I cannot fiiiind my streeeeeet.... and then between the nothing WOW I love this compilation, i travelled through lucid spaces so many times with this and there was never anything in music that can come close to the 3rd psychedelic mindwarp. ALL KILLERs, NO FILLERs in here.

Balance
I bought this second hand last year as mine had been lost over time. Anyway, it looks original with proper case & printed CDs but when I play it the volume just seems really low compared to other Pulse compilations. It's really disappointing .& hard to listen to let alone use as a dj. Anyone notice this or did I get sent a perfect fake?
Goa-Head
it looks original with proper case & printed CDs but Digipak or j-case?
Balance
digipak. It's like all the other volumes. One thing I did notice was that the barcode on the spine was like a big piece of white paper. Usuall or at least on Vol. 2 whichis next to me the code is just printed over theactual cover, no white patch. It really annoys me as I love the first 5 volumes & being a bit OCD I hate only having 1,2,4 & 5 that are listenable.
Goa-Head
Once I had a copy where the spine was discoloured, but might have been normal. Could you upload scans? In the meantime have you compared the matrix with the discogs data?

Might just wait until i get more cash & buy a nother copy via discogs to compare
Trance2MoveU
Superluminal was the biggest surprise from me. What a track! Wish those guys would've produced more.
