Anoebis
Dark Nebula - 100% Pure Brainwater Artist: Dark Nebula Title: 100% Pure Brainwater Label: Nephilim Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'50" Not Human 02. 08'20" Brain Water 03. 07'19" Wonder Hippie 04. 06'30" Black Beauty 05. 07'50" Sonic Disturbance 06. 08'01" Wisdom Code 07. 07'39" Dominant Lifeform 08. 06'51" Internal Delirium 09. 01'53" Rupert The Fish 10. 08'10" Knumbers Of Colours Review: This is one of the most surprising CD's I got last year! The whole album is on the dark side and not melodic, altough you can't call it minimal either... All the songs (exept 9&10) are spiced with heavy, fast and hypnotic basslines... the ones you want to hear during the night, the ones that keep you going forever! Reviewing every song is not very relevant because most of the song are in the same style... But there are a few standouts, specially number 4 is a complete stormer!! It has a real cool sample with after the sample an insane climax of noise...! Also number 6,7&8 are far above average! Number 9 is a joke, I think it's made with E-Jay when the maker was 13... héhé, and the last one is an ambient song, without any beats, so it's more an atmospheric piece! All together this is a must have for all Hux Flux-style lovers!! I've been told his last songs are even better, so wtach out for him! I give this CD 7,5/10 (because this sound is not really my cup of tea) Bom Shankar!
Guest Slidingtrancer
Hmm I heard it and can't really say I like it, I don't think you can compare it with Hux Flux. It's dark but not haunting. It's a bit melodic, but not challenging. Not my piece of cake I guess though it should be great on the dancefloor. High's: 'Sonic disturbance' and 'Black Beauty'. Low's: 'Rupert the Fish' and 'wonder hippie' 6.5/
Guest Phaeton
i think this artist is overrated .. i have had this cd for a few months now and kept on listening and listening again to it to see if there's anything in it that i like but to me it mainly sounds like a very boring and weak attempt at imitating artists like for example double dragon ... this stuff is far from the complex and psychedelic style of hux flux! in some tracks there are parts that i like but then there are also other parts that disturb me, or there is not enough progression .. and it sounds like he uses a linndrum machine or something for all non-kick drums/percussion still, some of the tracks on this cd suit the dancefloor pretty well i guess, but most of it is mediocre .. 5/
Guest Cyrion
It sounds like my little brother who's abusing my MC505. Hux Flux ...often imitated never duplicated. Peace
Lemmiwinks
Hmmm... another minimalistic album out there... But wait, this one has one song that absolutely drived me crazy!! Black Beauty is absolutely awesome!!! It's the very first time that I actually prefer a minimalistic track to full-on!! And the progression in minute 5 is great. At 5:24 you have some djembés kicking in and then the full power of the song unleashes. It's a shame that that track is the only one on the CD that's really good IMO. The rest sound all the same, a little jazzy, but really not my thing... 5/10 Like I said, Black Beauty is an excellent track, but if it weren't for that one I wouldn't care less for this album. Guest waut[at]goatrance[dot]com
Black beauty is an awesome track indeed (9/10). Except that it is too short. I really would like to hear the rest of the album.

Guest Psychedelic AllabertA
Dovla, shove it or I won't go to the next party with ya! )) Although this may sound amateurish, I love this shit!!! Let's admit it... BOPumBOPum basslines suck but the ammount of raw synthetic distortions and brutal abrasive, primitive sound effexxx which rip your ears and speakers are a real thing if you want to terrorize deep jazzy house listeners when you drive them in a car to a party )) This is some pretty cheesy but also extremely sick and twisted shite... I probably like it so much because I like hardcore and gabber as well! And I like to mention that I adore this shit it to Dovla every time, it makes him so nervous because he got that CD )))
Guest AMP
Great album, and excellent quality in its own way. Black beauty is simply amazing, and quite tripping, specially that break with the chorus voice. I would really like to listen to this music in a party. The bass is amazing aswell. Guest [Anonymous]
I listened to Black Beauty a few times, and I didn't find anyithing in it that would make this track so good. It's boring I think...
