Anoebis
Chakra Feat Liquid Metal - Resurrection Artist: Chakra Feat Liquid Metal Title: Resurrection Label: Optimus Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 09'43" Resurrection 02. 09'27" Search Of God Review: I like this EP very much... Chakra made some real party-killers here!! The first song builds up till minut 5... There you have a fucking great and dark melody that won't let you go enymore till the end of the song... The second song is in the same style, altough it's darker and you have to wait longer till you have that great final!! )) I know these song are also released on the Optimus compilation, but I don't have it... So if you don't have those songs, you should really get them asap!! They'll rock every party!! First song 9,5/10 the second song 8,5/10... freak51
Pretty, but clubby. For the naive. "God is the mountain"? Chakra has done better than this, five years ago.

Guest TRISTAN
The second track is shit, so let`s talk about 01 - Resurrection... The track is a total killer for a few mins untill it reaches that crappy melody! dang 7.5/10 missing 2.5 points for the pointless melody
Guest [Anonymous]
"Resurrection" is pretty good, although it could do with more funk and something interesting to fill that mid-range chasm between the rattling hi-hats and the rumbling bass. Good sounds, I kinda like the "melody" (though I can totally understand why some people might find it annoying!). Oh, and the intro is brilliant, making this a good first record to play. "Search For God" is depressing and washed-out, I'm afraid. It's just dreary, plodding psy-trance that makes me feel lethargic and bored.
