I am not well versed enough in psy-trance to distinguish between

what old or new school psy should be sound like, all I know is that this is a

classic, and should be revered by anyone who has an interest in MUSIC. Much

I love using this stuff as trance fodder. Oh so many points to just break into

a new song at. (Sunscreem.) Quick, slippery, squelchy, and eclectic at the

same time. The beginning sample of klunk is the beginning of an orb song

also. It is a total mind trip. The nuns are sipmly geniouses.

I wish they would make another album together. This must be one of the most

psychadelic album ever, next to maybe Geomantik by Prana or Synergy by

Cosmosis. Great beats and complete madness for melodies. I so like this one.

One of the best of all time and still kicks ass in 2001. Rock Bitch and Cor

are my favorites.

Freak 51 is right. It's a shame they didn't put-2 Vindaloos And an Onion

Bagees-on here. That is one killer track and I only have it mixed (doh!) on

Distance to Goa 4. Otherwise a killer album.

Yes indeed this release contains some flippy-trippy stuff...The happy high

melodies make make you feel so alert, wanting to sing it out. A lot of the

samples in these trax also make me laugh because they're so twisted! The nuns

have proved to me that they are special, they created their own planet just

like Pleiadians or Infected or Hallucinogen or ? have done theirs. My

favorite is Rock Bitch...the way this one starts is so extraordinary... Other

favorites: 2,3,5 and Atomic Armadillo starts pretty fast but after this funny

sample: fluffy! it just fluffens into ambient (nice chill-out to end this

crazy release!) This alb should definately be high-lighted!!!

This is the best. For anyway still addicted to screaming 303's try and get

this one!!!!!! The album is complete madness and keeps on rocking till the

very end. Real kick and energy, and squeeky melodies all the way, this is the

kind of sound that got me interested in Psy from the very first time. It

pumps on and on and on and on, it screeks, bleeps, blows, blasts and rocks!!!

rockbitchmafia is one of the greatest albums ever made......i like expecialy

the 1st track (somewhere in the middle when the sounds are x-treamly high &

beautiful and i also like rings of fire.......buy the cd........exelent work

by this guy's no dough..........................exelent 10/10

This one of the greatest goa albums.

It might not be the most complex, but an album need not be complex to be absolutely

fucking wikkid... the simplenss can also be a good thing as well:)...and screaming

303s rule, anyone who doesn't say this album is great and calls themself a

trancer shoudl be shot multiple times. do not say "it's not proggressive"

because it's not it's goa ...gnotr got me into goa and i'll take it ANY day

over logic bomb, absolum, and the like...it's too unfortunate that most new

goa is formulatic and people get upset when a song doesn't follow

formula!...well anyways GREAT Album every track's a GREAT one, GREAT vibe,

just VERY pleasurable listening! i WISH they had more stuff out!!

it's just dumb sounding, and the samples and sound effects are all lame. there

is not a single good track here. i don't see how people can say this is the

greatest and criticize shamanic tribes on acid... it's the same bullshit.

although i must say, many of the green nuns tracks on comps are pretty good.

1/10 for the cd.

This album is great! Thunder Thigs is a really mindblowing track, at the end of

it millions of things sound together! Cor is also a great track, I love the

guitars and the 303's in it! I don't like track 3 & 4, they're not good for

me. Ring of fire is also mindblowing, and then comes Klunk a track which is

good is you wanna laugh. Atomic Armadillo is great too, and I haven't heard

the other version. Everyone says that the other one's better. I must hear it!

Twat!! Obviously I don't want to go to your house and have you play me yor skazi and s-club 7 CDs.

 

This album is FUCKING amazing. Every track I think is fantastic. I wish more acts would use 303s more. I've seen these guys live and they blew my mind. I've seen just one of these guys (a green nun) live and that was brilliant too.

I love all tracks but even octofunk, klunk, rock bitch and atomic armadillo stand out. I have the CD and the Vinyl. On the vinyl atomic armidillo is a different version but it's brilliant on both!

 

"They have no word for fluffy" - anyone who can sample blackadder must be a genious.

One of the really good albums o' the era. Very energetic, fun and acid..

Only track 2 and 3 lacks a bit compared to the rest and be sure to dig the original Atomic armadillo instead of this version.. 8/10

Whether they bring the 303 in all sorts of stretchy twisted layers - jazzy goa cyber grooves like Octofunk - or the amazing energetic slope into ambient dreamscapes like the cds finale...woa. the Green Nuns need a major return in the psycene. 8)
