02. 05'12" Samurai (Total Eclipse Rmx)

03. 07'47" Feel The Universe (Koxbox Rmx)

04. 08'08" Magnetic (Robert Liener Rmx)

05. 06'26" Labyrinth

Review:

Samurai itself is a good song. Though some could say it's a bit cheesy with the

beginning melody, I think it overall is moody, interesting and especially

fresh with the stereotypical Japanese melodies and sounds converted nicely

into psy-trance. The remix is not that good, though. I think that it's

probably because Total Eclipse and Juno Reactor have such different styles

that they don't match.

The Koxbox remix of Feel The Universe is awesome and improves a lot on the

already good original. It really makes me feel the universe! Koxbox has added

plenty of their fast, acidic and complicated melodies that they used a lot on

Dragon Tales and the result is really trippy and still retains the

emotionality of the original. This song belongs to the same category as

Shamanix!

Track 4 concentrates on percussion and is ok, but leaves me a bit

indifferent, despite the nice beats. Not enough anything else, I guess.

Labyrinth is another good song, with good, uplifting melodies coming and

going, catered with a nice layer of psychedelic sounds and just enough acid,

all on a pumping base and beat.

Definetly worth buying, even if just for track 3. And because it's only a

maxi, it's half the price of an album! 8/10 overall.

I agree with what's written above : the koxbox remix of Feel the Universe is

really really good, better than the original. Samurai is a good track, but

it's also on Beyond the infinite. I don't really like the Magnetic remix

(original is better). The Samurai remix is ok, and the last track, labyrinth

is great.

I see that we all agree to say that the koxbox remix of feel the universe is

excellent. The brand new track "Labyrinth" is also great, so, if you see this

CD, do not hesitate.

Agree with everybody ? T1 is nice but it?s also on Beyond the infinite. The

Total Eclipse is superb, just like Koxbox?s. and about the Magnetic mix?

disappointment. Marvelous closing with Labyrinth. 8/10

I've had this for about 5 years, and it still stands out as one of the best

singles I have. The Kox Box mix and Labyrinth are my faves 9/10.

Extremely well-crafted EP! There's no place for the same style to show up twice

(plus... :)! Pretty versatile work me thinks. The only discordance is about

"Feel The Universe". I'am sure as the keeper of its own style the original is

a way better! Thouse beats, this ever-lasting mind-bending melody... The

Koxbox rework on its own is great too, but should not to be compared with the

source! 8/10, worth getting for four good new tracks. Tchankov I.V.

an ok ep. samurai is one of the best juno reactor songs, but i am not a huge

juno reactor fan. perhaps i like it because it is more "typical" goa as

opposed to the juno reactor style that i do not care for much. also, the

koxbox remix of feel the universe is pretty good. and labyrinth is also among

my favorite juno songs, very nice melody. the other two songs (2,4) are not

very good at all. 7/10

Excellent EP. Stunning variation in these 5 tracks; From classic Juno Reactor style, to regular goa in Total Eclipse's remix, followed by "Feel the Universe" in Koxbox's version, which is superior to the already great original. Then we land in a much weirder place and listen to Robert Liener's rework of "Magnetic", which might as well be considered as a totally new song as it shares merely a couple of sound effects with the original.

The whole thing is finished off with style. "Labyrinth" is what could be considered the B-side, and a great one.

9/10
