Guest flurofrog[at]hotmail[dot]com
Haunting orchestral backgrounds and thumping tribal rhythms from outer space heard through the static din of an old AM radio. How anyone could call it "minimal" is beyond me - the Delta fill every corner of their musical space with cryptic sounds and subtle melodies that call you from another part of the universe. Call it "psytech", "post-nuclear stomp", "industrial goa" - who cares ... it's good, its powerful, it shakes and elevates!

Guest psygroove
I love lots of minimal and dark acts, but as already said several times, this is pure techno in my opinion. I believe it is a lot of people's cup of tea, but not mine, no X-Dream, no psychedelic sounds, only some metal workers going crazy with their intruments. When I have time to listen to music this is defenitely not what I would like to hear. Anyway, give it a try and deceide for yourselves. Guest Red-Eye Jed-I
Now this is how a good minimal/minimal-psy, techno/tech-trance/techno/horror-film soundtrack or whatever you prefer to put it, should sound like Man, this is harsh, it's evil & wicked, totally dark and atmospheric, overwhelming at first listens. people who didn't hear thier latest works, should not expect another Scizoeffecitive-like music, this one's totally in a different direction, more in the style they only began to create, on the Scizoeffective album in tracks like Thing & Pop (Two of thier most amazing works for my opinion...), together with Arne & Wayan from the Spirallianz/Midi-Miliz crew, which clearly shows thier sound on this album The whole album got this gloomy atmosphere, very dark, very sad... on the cover you see a blured character wearing a gas mask, and some deserted warehouse look a like buildings (the cover was designed by Arne, so it says on the inside). A nuclear war ? well, i'm sure this kind of music will be played amongest those who survive the nuclear war in the ruins tracks like Def by Delta part 1 & 2, Standby, Send In...Send Back, A+B, and Lost & Found will be some the greater post-nuclear era stompers. Others, like Fade and Basic Beat would be the better ones for morning hours, very good... End of the world music, literally ! a little words game in Hebrew as well... although this album is surely not for everyone, those who cannot sense the brilliancy beyond the devstating pounding basslines should stay away, Minimal/Techno & Tech-Trance haters ? keep a great distance from this one, it's not for you. Full-On lovers ? that is not the old Delta from As A Child I Could on the Ceiling, or X-Dream in anyway. this is something new & innovative... People who like - 3.Turn/Authentik, Spirallianz/Midimiliz, Wizzy Noise, Opsis etc... only !
Guest Swede Indeed
Massive, phat and furious! After two days of owning this giant I love it from the heart of my bottom (or something like that). Hard technoish beats with orchestral horror layers, more distorted than the previous album. Some minimal technolike trax but still with a touch of psytrance, more like Midimiliz sound (Fade could be a Midimiliz-track). You'll hear their sound in every track but this is sooo much heavier. My favourites are Standby (yes, this is good), Send in...Send back, Def by Delta part II (That layer at 5:55...uh raouuu paaah...ehum) but I really enjoy MJ Error and A+B like some people consider the weakest trax here, (no no no). This is a pure 10/10 for me and hopefully it will grow on you who gave this a lower rating, it's just a matter of understanding...
Guest MK
BEST of the year 2001. This is what the soundtrack for the darkest movie ever made would sound like. Definitely not for wooftahs and little girlzzzz. Intense mood music with intelligence and heart----------------pounding psychedelia that u can taste. Listen to this a few times b4 u form an opinion - i'm loving it - reminds me of some of Wojciech Kilar's work - 9.5/
Guest Philip Xmen
Reminds me of the old Radio-days. I must say, although I "hate" minimal... this is my cup of tea. 8/10.

Guest spacemonkey - 604
it is NOT PSY TRANCE it is NOT TECHNO.....iiiiiiIT's the DELTA! Man, this stuff is full of power and energy, it's hard and the little monotomus sounds make it slithly psychedelic. It's is music when played out loud makes me smile of the pure insane evil that blares out of your speakers. It's dark sounds drip and shout out your system like war machines at full combat and keep on pumping like a gosthtrain packed with explosice, that just won't stop exploding! 9/10 (there are some minor tracks on it)
Guest [Anonymous]
Goa and psy narrow-minded trance heads--Expand your mind and open your closed eyes. This is sheer, killer stuff. You guys who hate this album just don't understand and appreciate the sounds and don't get it. Sure, it's heavy and minimal. But, POWERFUL!It's a different way of music just like your Goa and Psy. And, this knocks the shit out the latter two, no doubt. This music will flatten the crap out most of the floaty, melodic and spacey dance trance that is playing out there these days. 20/20. LOVE THE DELTA!
Guest Soyouth
You totaly are IN when you listen to it, it makes you dive into a dark, gloomy, scary atmosphere. Listenning the two parts of Def By Delta continuously (2+7) makes you feel like you are dying, very great experience, I like the drum kicks hard and distorted ! Guest Zoltar
this album is a joke. (by the way i listen to swedish minimal/hard techno for many years) blast food (spirallianz) was brillant, the delta's first album kicked asses but now... hmm, well the ambiance is cool. good/dark/scary for the psy-freaks but baby music for the technoheads. ( 5.5/10 )
Guest a_is_to_b_as_b_is_to_c
Hey Zoltar first of all ur not a technohead cuz if u were u wouldn?t be saying such b.s. about Delta?s music! We all know that their music is techno influenced but it is still something new and extremely original there should be a sub genre in the electronic scene for DELTA?S music.. Between I played MJ ERROR at a techno gig and the whole dancefloor went on FIRREE## @@ I?ll trully give 10/10 for this one of a kind psychedelic and inspiring masterpiece
Guest miki[at]goatrance[dot]com
I have to admit, this album is a true test of how mature one's taste is. Though this album is not "psychedelic" in the true sense of the word (and by the way, who are we to label and classify a person's creative expression), it is undoubtedly one of the most complex and mature releases i have ever heard. Another timeless release from x-dream and co. It's easy to dismiss this album as minimal and distorted after a few listens, but trust me, it goes much deeper than that. I give this album 9.5/10. i take off 0.5 only coz the album could have done with a little continuity between the tracks. Good show Delta. Guest Zoltar
a_is_to_b_as_b_is_to_c - didn't say it was shit. i agree with you it's killing stuff for the dancefloor (10/10 but for home listening, i've heard smarter percussion usage (like blast food). btw about 'basic beat' track on that album, what's so hot? psychotronic
A killer in the dancefloor!!!!!!10/10 WOW!!!!!!!
