Anoebis
Future Prophecy - Shadows Artist: Future Prophecy Title: Shadows Label: Big Foot Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'20" Freak 02. 08'10" Nomad In Space 03. 08'29" Picture Of The Universe 04. 08'05" At The Rim Of Chasm Part 1 05. 08'03" Dungeons Of Wander 06. 08'04" At The Rim Of Chasm Part 2 07. 08'16" Reflection 08. 07'55" Final Vision Review: Cool CD, maybe a littlebit less good as his last CD, but still very good!!! They completely changed of style, they're making some hard, dark and stomping Goa now!! The basslines are the coolest you can imagine... and they put sounds like Tim Schuldt on it!!! I guess the first song is example nr1, it's the remix of the song of X-Dream, with guitars or something like that... And that remix is really good, great for on party's!! The other songs have all their own same Future Prophecy style: (maybe that's the bad point on this CD) but I like that style so it's one of my better CD's!! Best songs are 1,3,4,5,7,8!! But like I already said, they're all the same style so I like them all... Bom Shankar!!
Guest Ktaadn
Harder, darker, faster, meaner, grittier...so play it louder! This is my all-time night-time CD. Violent riffs and crushing basslines dominate here. They've done a fine tribute to X-Dream, and the original compositions are equally intense. Future Prophecy have produced some stormers here that are absolutely relentless. Not for the kiddies or those with weak hearts...if you like the rough stuff, meet your new favorite CD. 8/
Guest stephen216[at]yahoo[dot]com
yep excellent CD, sounds alot like X-Dreams great sound-fat basslines, seamless production and nice melodies. Just imagine crossing X-Dream and California Sunshine together-great!
Guest GlobalSteez
This is a really tasty retro sounding album. It's refreshing to hear trance in this style again although it's been done before. It's a successful formula that still can maybe be pushed even further. I think the best way to describe this would be, say, to imagine what would happen if X-Dream were to throw out all their old recording equipment, but before it could reach the bucket, Future Prophecy intercept it all and are given a tutorial from them in the form of the 1st track on this album. Then they do what they want with their stuff after that. I realise of course that's probably not what happened but I still had a good laugh imagining it did and it does fairly well describe the albums feel or sound. Very good then. 7.5/
Guest djonanis[at]hotmail[dot]com
Although it has a lack of sound variety, this album is very good. rough and rush track is amazing (tune 1), but track 2 teared my tears out, just beatifull. very alien sound. 8/
Guest Pit-UFO
Every song sounds the same, the sounds are the same, the groove is the same, but the result is good. At the Rim of Chasm and Freak are very powerful tracks. I think this guys have a promising future but they'll have to work harder creating new grooves and sounds. The energy is there. Please don't become something like Miranda or Astral Projection, be careful your balancing on the edge. 7/
Guest Infected Max
Not cool CD... Innovation = 0. Every second of this CD have been copied to X-Dream. They just added crappy Israeli sounds. Technically they are excellent because copying X-Dream is a big deal...but you don't need this CD if you got Radio.
Guest Kilian[at]goatrance[dot]com
This album is pure cheese...they use the same sounds in all tracks..same beats. even the intro in some songs use the same sound. this attempt to copy x-dream is a pure failure. Not even worth a mp3-download.
Guest Tequila
typical X-dream sound, not as good, but still well produced and original sometimes.X-dream lovers, this stuff is for you.7/
