Guest r2d2
I wonder how much is x-dream radio lp (not cd) worth? How much would you be willing to pay for it is in mint condition. I'm talking about the original Blue Room issue.
Guest Raider
I would pay my third dick for it!
Basilisk
i've seen it on ebay once - recently too... it went for $102.50 (US)
Guest chong
$102.50 - thats really ridiculous - as much as I like X-Dream and the Radio LP. At one stage people were buying the Mystery Of The Yeti CD for $200...pfffffff - i guess there are a lot of rich kids with nothing much to spend their money on....... Guest psygroove
I bought the original "Radio " CD for just 4€ on eBay.... some people must have been asleep :-] If anybody really wants to pay me more then 100 US $ for my original vinyl version let me know..... for that amount of money I would not hesitate to give it away, although I really love the album... Guest Goagabba
Thanks to this thread, I had a look on ebay, and promptly bought myself the original, factory packed Radio CD, for $ 9.99. Yerhoo Cheers dudes Bom
Guest Jikkenteki
I wish labels would occassionally consider reprinting comps, albums and such that people obviously want since they are willing (or perhaps "forced" is a better word) paying huge amounts of money for used copies (special mentions should go out to the good folks who recently reprinted Infected Mushrooms first two albums). I understand that vinyl doesn't sell as well as CDs, but it someone is willing to spend $50+ on a used record (of which the label doesn't see a penny), doesn't it make sense for the labels to reprint at least a few copies, which gives the labels some more income and leaves the DJs with more money available to spend on even more records? Anyways, regard X-Dream. Radio on CD is easy to come by on Ebay. I picked mine up for about $5 including shipping. On vinyl is another story though. I have only seen it up there twice. The first time was the above mentioned auction where it went for $102. It popped up again this weekend, where I promptly bought it for somewhere around $50 via the Buy It Now feature, although that ranks as the highest amount I have paid for a record to date (I record I would prefer not to break, but I am not optimistic since I am on the hunt for alot of the now defunct Matsuri's old records). While Ebay is a great source for records, I would recomend people do a very serious search of other resources before dropping $30, $40, $50+ for used vinyl. For alot of these older records I personally recommend people keep a close eye on Saiko Sounds as they seem to get older titles in from time to time. A week or two ago TIP Phosphorescent was up on Ebay for the expected high price that the "colors" series goes for on wax there, yet at the exact same time Saiko Sounds had is available brand new. Sandman's Witchcraft is up right now with a Buy It Now price of $60 as well as Green Nun's album for $55, yet I bought both of these on vinyl new from Saiko Sounds within the last 6 months or so. basilisk- Ouch, $80 hurts. I got TIP Yellow on vinyl on Ebay about months ago for under $30. I thought it was going to go much higher so obviously I lucked out. The guy selling it appeared to not have much of a handle how to properly title the record for the search engines so I think pretty much everyone missed it. Anyone got a TIP Orange they are willing to part with?
