Review:

"Now I want you to take yourself back to that spot. When you close your eyes

and go to that place. Now look again up at those pink clouds. Pick one, and

go there ... Go there ..." Who is this? Blavatsky? Some ancient mystic

gypsy woman intones this again and again over the hardest, heaviest, most

merciless percussion riffs I have ever heard in trance. This record keeps

giving and giving too, with several other A-list tracks for those who like it

dark and sci-fi. From Module One ("I - am - beeeeeeeeent") to Kein Traum and

VPM Groove, the record is mainly percussion-driven, but somehow I enjoy it

anyway. Fans of Astral Projection/Man with No Name type stuff will not like

this at all. The best part about this one is the bang for the buck. Someone

actually sold this back and I found it second-hand for 10 bucks, probably some

happy hardcore PLUR child scared witless by this savage, brutal release. But

they pretty much had to turn out some pretty evil noises to live up to the

name 'Kopfuss Resonator'. 9/10.

some happy hardcore PLUR child scared witless by this savage, brutal release

??? I think it's because of the album, not him...

ok. i dont like this album. It's too dark; some tracks are well built, but it

ends up with only noise noise and noise again in most of the tracks. so: 4/10

this is one of my favourites for some time now. all tracks are very percussive,

most are well built and driving. One or two tracks are slightly too monotonous

for my tastes ( "Tommis Machine") but "Whipbird" or "Kein Traum" make up for

that. Sure, this is not exactly melodic, but to me it's not that dark either.

the cover is supposed to be a creature but made entirely of gears

and wires and stuff, kind of like what creation would be like if God were a

German. The best part of the cover is the centre, when you open it up: is it

a spinal column of some predator? Nooo - it's a model made entirely out of

cabling, a wonderfully mechanical world-view. Mars - I think I like the noisy

sounds because I came fairly recently from Industrial/Gothic on my musical

journey, so this feels almost like a sick comfort food.

This is a cd for a certain mood - and that mood is hard, fast and dark. I think

it's a tribute to Kopfuss that some days I can think what a waste of money in

my collection, and other days I just can't get enough of it. Perhaps that says

more about me than the album, but I think it certainly has it's niche and if

you're after something that comfortably fits in with all your other stuff then

this is unlikely to be it - if however you want something for just that moment

when it has to be frantic and brutal ...... this is it ! 1/10 to 9/10 !

This cd is such a pounder. Good for acid trip when you really want a powerful

sound. German style all it's own I have never heard anything else that mixes

into or out of a kopfuss track without noticing the transition. Wonderful

stuff all the way through.

OH--------MY-----------GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO THERE!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

G-E-T T-H-I-S N-O-W!!!

Take yourself back to that place... Just close your eyes and go to that spot...

Go there... Over the hardest, most driving drums and bassline you ever heard,

and in the middle the song peaks and you don't just GO there, you are fucking

KICKED there! Mama rodnaya, kus-naal'abuk(russian, hebrew :) )... Thats my

first impression! No mark, too early to judge this album. The cover owns :)

Bom! - Raven

This is decent cd. If you want music like this, there is way better stuff out

there. Only half the tracks are good, the rest are garbage. With that in

mind, I give it 5/10

I've had your CD over 2 years and it still sounds great.

At the party in Australia your set sounded the best!

I forgot to make a note of your new email address and then my address book got

wiped out. Please email me again so I can reply...

Much Love and happy thoughts from Clair in N.Z.

Well, what can I say ? Thats the best shit I ever heard, I think Kopfuss

Resonator is the BEST project ever. I like everything, especially the style -

its hard, kicking and fucking fast, just the one for me :].The first KR track

I listened to was Module One over 3 years ago - it made a great impression on

me - I never heard anything like it before. I give this one 10/10. Yeah, Go

There, um GO... ? Kick ? Being f... kicked there !?...

No, no...leave him be. If you know a better way to workout those elbows I'm all ears.

Now this is something different. Hard, abrasive, rhythmic techno that flirts with trance. Teases it. Like a hot chick that knows she's hot. Metallic and alien sounding it's just what the doctor ordered when you need to get away from the bright sunshine. This is a rusty machine that grinds up cheese with the harsh sounds of metal scraping concrete. The squirmy 303 in Kein Traum reminds you that goa ain't dead yet. Whipbird is a psychedelic goa car crash that left me wanting more. I like what was posted earlier in the thread when someone rated it 1/10 - 9/10. If you get your mind right and are in the mood for it this is nice.
