Guest rx7style
I don't know what's going on. I tried really hard to get this album because everyone gave it such great reviews! Now I finally purchased, and listened to it, and I think it's pretty bad! The sound is so basic, which sometimes annoys you because the levels were mastered incorrectly -- melodies are way too loud and drown out the other layers. The tones used in the tracks aren't pleasent, they're sometimes abrasive, and it almost starts to sound cheesy. Spiritual Healing is an absolutely awful track, I can't explain in more detail because it's ALL bad! My opinion is this album was hyped up too much and people jumped on the bandwagon. I'm going to use this album as a coaster from now on. Anyway, I'd listen to it first, if you like it [yuck] then buy it! If not, and you're rich, use it as a coaster. Jon Cocco
I have to say that after hearing some of the reviews above, I expected Track 1 to be alot better then what some of the (obviously hyped) reviews above. Also, Track 2 is not my type of style. I am surprised that no one has talked about how annoying TRACK 2 is. I find it quite hard to believe that anyone can be SPIRITUALY healed by track 1. Whatever. To each is his own, I guess. HOWEVER, having said the negative, I must admitt that there are some pretty awesome tracks on this cd, "BUT" you must first except the change of music style before you go upon judging it. This cd sounds a hell of a lot different from what I am used to hearing. It's not mellow, not truly dance, certaintly not chill, and deff. no where near acid-trippy-psychedelic-insaine. I don't know how I'd classify this. Probably some unique trance of some sort. Anyway, track 7 sounds quite powerful and dark. This is very cool and catchy. The last track I found quite good as well, actually I didn't expect it to sound so cool, until I turned the volume uP, AND put on the head phones. Track 1 I thought was really good at first, but seems to get some what repetitive. To sum it up, THIS CD IS NOT AMAZING, AND seems to be the type of music that you shall either LOVE or HATE, or just find really different and interesting like me. I almost lost the faith when I heard Track 2, but Track 3 certaintly does seem to revive it quite well. I recken you listen to this cd before buying. If you have read some of the reviews above, you'll notice some people talk about this cd like it's the Matrix.
Guest phase418[at]hotmail[dot]com
I bought this cause of all the hyped-up reviews on here, and It does not come close to what I expected. This is not bad, I do "get it", but it just isin't something that gets a whole lot of listens in my CD player. I find it all to be acceptable, except for track 1. That track does not at all fit the album, it is fast simple trance, and the rest of the album is moody melodic and ambientish. i can feel the emotions and the "power" of this album, but it by no means a red lettered Classic in my cd collection. I don't feel dissapointed, but I would be perfectly happy if I had never bought it. listen to it first. 6/

Guest jon
Juan is the best transe musician i have ever heard at this time, because he believes in one vision, the vision of love. this music is not a simple vibration. this music is the best and the most pure vibration in electronic. viva la revolution. Guest Baggins
Awesome... absolute genius. This is trance at it's best, smooth, varied, uplifting, emotional, occasionally funky, my only problem with it is the awful new-agey cover - it looks like it should sound like pan-pipes relaxing classics thats sold between books on meditation and sticks of incense. But it's not... ! 9.5/
Guest infectedmush[at]hotmail[dot]com
Spiritual Healing Track 1st is the best classic space trance I've ever heard, its melodic story carries u to the upper spheres beyond earth. The best way of listening to it is while cruising the roads in your car stereo.
Guest seed[at]goatrance[dot]com
i agree that spiritual healing is the best track created in the history of mankind!
Guest [Anonymous]
Definetly different and more chill than usual.Good shit 8/
Guest Pzzt - Neo
I agree that the layers were mastered incorrectly, the melodies are indeed way to loud BUT I think that The ancient Sounds of The Gods is one of the best tracks ever... you have to give it time and listen to the whole track... some much emotion and so much power held back until the climax... 100/10 for this track, it is so special no one ever made anything like it... also spiritual Healing is a nice track and i'd give it 7/10.. but the rst of the album isn't as good the same samples, the poor production... i'd give the rest of it a 5/10, but be sure t get tracks 1 and
Guest blunted[at]telia[dot]com
Well, Juan Verdera is fantastic obviosly, but really, the only REALLY good track here is Spiritual Healing... and it doesn't fit with the others...by the way, the remix of Spiritual Healing by Juan & Domi & Jorg, is THE best track EVER. I promise. If you like Spiritual Healing, you'll LOOVE the remix...although the remix lacks the special mood and love...but it has another twist, more dark, psychedelic and underground. Get it... as for the album, 3/10. The title song and the remix; 10/10 and beyond.
Guest Jason - Los Angeles, CA
Juan Verdera emailed me once and told me what Spiritual Healing meant to him. He really believes that this song helped cure a life threatening illness he was suffering from. That's why he named it Spiritual Healing. I haven't heard an update and hope all is well with him. Anyone?? I wish he would realease another album. This was a real masterpiece and his story really explains how deep and emotional this CD can be. tWiSTeD
this is really lame im usually into full on melodic goa, but the sounds that are used are just so grating and undeveloped plus i think the songs sound like they were named by a 5 year old shaman

Guest Mo
'the return of the travellers' is one of the most beautyful tracks i have ever heard it sounds just .... i can hardly express how bizzare this feels to me ... it is quite naive , still very intelligent , and those violin sounds are just impressive... i simply love this track! i heard it times and times again this summer while travelling on the bus through europe and when i read the name of the track i was amazed , because it was just what it told me , this track ... some voice kept telling me i couldn`t run away from pain and my old ways , and that every traveller must return , no matter how long the journey is , one will always come back , because there will always be something , one little thing there , whitch will make u want to come back home now i always think of the beautyful regions i visited , and the strange feeling i had when finally returning to that someone i loved and missed so much at times ... and well ... a beautyful track . period
Guest Davidtolsn
auuuughhhh!! my ears! this cd is BAD. it seems i am the only negative reviewer, but for some reason i just don't "get it." it sounds like it was made on a cheap synthesizer. when most people say that they are joking. i am not. and the melodies, they aren't too special. this is not psychedelic at all, and it is amazingly bad sounding. listen before you buy. 1/10 (for cool song titles)
vision
Well, after learning about the tragic story of Juan Verdera's life, I've listed to The Muses Rapt album more carefully, and i have to say, I've managed to fill the mental strife of this strong man. i think i can fill through his how he loves LIFE, nature, the wishper of wind, the noise of the forest and that he really belives in mystery of our world. How will be nice, if all morden musicians put all their souls into music they are making. i agdre tha mastering of the album is not perfect, and some rifs are not very good. but all this work leaves strong impressions. It makes to become inlove with you and your life, even if you don't like something in it.That's my personal opinion. i really respect such people like Juan Verdera.
