Guest anachash[at]yahoo[dot]com Posted March 31, 2001 Posted March 31, 2001 Codex - Stereoculture Artist: Codex Title: Stereoculture Label: Nephilim Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 09'28" Life Is Photonic 02. 06'40" Micro.com 03. 07'47" Mission Possible 04. 09'21" 200 Lightyears In 5 Minutes 05. 07'50" Prozak 06. 08'48" Subliminal Puff 07. 09'06" What Do They Look Like 08. 09'30" Soundscapes 09. 07'51" Anadenoid Review: CODEX is Amos from Israel, who already released tracks with B.T.M, Medium, Sphere and Pinwheel. Stereoculture is He´s debut album, The music sounds pretty european, Fat produced and modern structed. You will also find in each track, the one or the other dwarf doing is psychedelic tripy-tricks. This album is a mix of many diffrent styled tracks, all the way from dark forward to the uplifter (as the name suggests) Prozak. The killer track is the off-beat Micro.coM, this one has absolut hit qualities. The promo tip I got with the c.d that it is a "morning sound" I find very amusing, considering the deep, pushy & "driving" elements in it. if that´s morning sound, I wonder what music should be played at night....??? Guest gizmo Posted April 23, 2001 Posted April 23, 2001 Probably one and only israeli artists which is not producing full on. Some of this tracks are really interesting. High quality progressive dark trance. 7/10 Quote
Guest GoaGabba Posted February 26, 2002 Posted February 26, 2002 STill one of the best albums that I own. Codex really grabbed my attention on the Chapel Perilous release on Kukomi. He was going to release this album on Kukomi, but this went sour, the result, A very hard to find album. It is really good, get it on (sorry about this) amazon.co.uk PLUR Quote
