Guest Ubik
Koxbox - Stratosfear Artist: Koxbox Title: Stratosfear Label: Blue Room Date: 1996 Track listing: 01. 10'25" Stratosfear 02. 09'26" Fuel On 03. 09'50" Stratosfearless Review: Typical Koxbox sound : very clever music with lots of floating little sounds that fit very well together. I read that Fuel On is only on the cd version but since it's a well-known song it's present on lots of compilations. Stratosfearless is a little disappointing, because it's too close from stratosfear. Nice cover Artwork 7.5/
mars
I do agree with Ubik. The typical FORMER KoxBox sound. Nothing to add. Same opinion, same mark: 7.5/10.

SkeletonMan
stratosfear is the most powerful track youll ever hear. if someone can suggest a track with more kick id like to hear it. 480552[/snapback] Tribal Oscillation This is every bit as much Koxbox as we've come to expect from these veterans. Somewhere in between Forever After and Dragon Tales, I reckon, but musicwise matching both. And the reefer goes around ... ;o) In my view, Koxbox has always been an act as challenging for the mind, as for the feet. So much happens during their tracks that they demand dedication to be fully appreciated. One layer comes on, you go with it, and just when you feel comfortable with it, it fades or a new layer is added. It can be frustrating! And it can be amazing. Stratosfear is no different and not an album I put on lots of times. It's like good wine. Most days you go with what you have. On specials occasions or perhaps just a rainy day, you may treat yourself to something extra. That's when Koxbox enters the equation. But, true, Stratosfearless is very close to Stratosfear. Could have been done more interesting.
