Review:

Oh dear, what a state we?re in. Tantrance 7 is a bit crap really. There is

practically no continuity, and listening just gets boring after a few tracks.

I?m sure most fans could easily make a compilation with more balls than this

one!! Sure, there?s a few nice tracks dotted around - notably the

ever-wonderful X-Dreams? Rain and Orions? The Source, but a few good tracks

out of 19 is not enough. And would you believe it - more bloody Astral

Projection to finish the compilation off. And do we really need stuff like

Malcolm Mclaren and Killing Joke on our compilations? This is a total waste

of money unless you?ve never heard X-Dream do ?Rain? - otherwise save yer

money and spend it on something better!!

Have to agree, this is not the best compilation cd ive seen. The tracks dont

flow into one another, just 6 minute songs that abruptly stop, not good for

altered states of mind. Grab it only if money is no object.

I used to think that all the Tantrance will always be the best Goa compil in

the world...Tantrance 7 shows me that it's not the case. NO good track in the

first Cd, tracks 4 and 5 are...are what, in fact ? 'Contact' is a pure sh...t,

like the Luke Cage's track. Some nice stuff in the 2nd disc like tracks 7 and

8, but nothing awesome...3/10

ones are: ovni, x-dream, mandala and astral projection. the best are: kreak,

exit eternity and the sunkings prove they know a lot about atmosphere.

There are some absolute horrible tracks on this compilation, which is not

psytrance at all, but commercial trance. For instance Malcolm McLaren - The

Bell Song (Lacme Dub) and Luke Cage - Dawnbreaker. And most of the other

tracks are mediocre! Exceptions are X-Dream (of course) and Chi-ad. Plurries...

Holy crap making it through this was difficult. It's so boring it makes a colonoscopy seem exciting. It's only natural that the quality would dip after 6 sequels. But hey, just keep f*cking that chicken. You can only wring so much mileage out of the the classic tracks before it just gets tiring. And sad.

Anything of value here is stuff that you've heard 872 times and have on other compilations.

I used to dislike this intensely but over time have come to enjoy it immensely! Some bits are euro trancey but still quality. The only track I really dislike and skip is Ambient Galaxy. This track has always seemed to me like a lazy filler, even on the album. I mean seriously, almost 14 minutes of talentless thumping pseudo breaks with a rehashed albeit slowed down melody from the original?

Anyway, other than that this I think is very nice and unfairly discriminated against!
